Vehicles such as imperial walkers and the clone's gun ships make this game even more enjoyable, as you are able to take part in tank battles and bringing down an Imperial Walker with a Snow Speeder. All this makes it just like the movies.

I got Star Wars battle front about a year ago and I am still playing it. It is great fun to play and gives you a great feeling that you are taking part in an epic star wars battle from the Battle of Hoth to the battle of Endor. The game is a little disappointing that you cannot play as Jedi, and weapons cannot be picked up this make battlefront a bit limiting but I guarantee you will like this game.
Graphics: +Battlefront delivers a sharp picture and great detail. It has a great water engine that shows splashes and ripples in the water as you or other units travel though it. Also the game offers excellent weather conditions such as the snow on Hoth to the rain on Kamino.
-Cut screen taken from the movie are a little blurry though, this is the only disadvantage of the graphics.
Sound: +Great, stunning music is used in Battlefront that makes you feel as if you are taking part in the movie. Also some great sound effects such as laser blasts and the rush of missiles as they fly by you have been taken from the movie that will blow you away.
Gameplay: +The gameplay is exciting and fun and there are four basic sides. You can pick Clones, Droids, Rebels and Storm Troopers that have their own unique weapons such as missile launchers and thermal detonators that are great fun to use. Also the amount of vehicles that are available to use sets battlefront aside making it superior to previous Star Wars games. Vehicles such as imperial walkers and the clone's gun ships make this game even more enjoyable, as you are able to take part in tank battles and bringing down an Imperial Walker with a Snow Speeder. All this makes it just like the movies.
-The game does suffer from over powered AI (computer controlled) units as they are a bit too good even on normal difficulty. I found that as I ran into a battle. The enemy units were extremely accurate and could kill me in 2-3 hits which can get annoying after a while. The game also suffers from battles with only 200 units- not really large enough. This may seem alot but the maps are big and only 50-100 of these units can be on the map at once.
Controls: Controls are easy to master and units are easy to control, it took me about 20 minutes to master.
There are four game modes you can play which are:
Single player: Here you can choose to play in the clones wars or galactic civil war. Basically, you fight though the battles of the Clone's wars such as Nabbo, Kamino and Genosis and you play as the Clones. The CIS (Droids) are fun to play but may be a little repetitive as the only objective is to kill all enemy units and there are some sub objectives but these are optional and do not make you victorious. Galactic civil wars is basically the same as the clone wars except different maps are used such as Hoth, Endor and Yarvin 4 and you play as rebels or Storm Troopers.
Galactic conquest: In a galactic conquest you can choose to play in the clone wars or galactic civil war. The basic idea of a galactic conquest is to pick a planet to attack and fight on two battlefields per planet. If you win both battles you take over the planet and once you have taken over all the planets you are victorious. This is fun but can be repetitive, but options such as picking bonuses such as sabotage (damages all enemy vehicles as soon as they spawn in) are available and makes the battles a little more interesting.
Instant action: In instant action you basically choose a map and fight on it. This is great if you want a quick game but you are only limited to 2 armys per map as Rebels and Storm Troopers or Clones and Droids.
Overall: Overall i would give this game 4/5 generally graphics, sound and gameplays is fun and enjoyale but a little improvement is needed in some areas such as more units on map and making AI units a little more easier 2 kill and not so accurate. All age groups Battlefront is suitable for and its not to difficult.
Star Wars Battlefront is available at most good game retailers between £10-£25.

Star wars Battle front must be one of the best games I have played in a very long time.
The idea of buying a Star Wars game didn't really grab me at first but I have to say that out of a few of this type over the years this one takes the lot. The choices you get in this game are great. One of the best is that you are able to choose which side you want to fight for. Oh so often you play a game of this type and really want to be on the other side ... ...not to hot on my Star Wars trivia but the game is also split into old and new wars like the new films and the old films. So this effectively gives you four separate sides to play for. This vastly increases the number of levels you can play.
The real object of the game is to join a side, get on to the battlefield and annihilate the other team in to oblivion using any which way you can. Weapons are a plenty and vary depending upon which army you fight ...

Im a huge Star Wars fan and seeing battlefront rushed out to buy it along with the DVD boxset of the original trilogy.
The Game
The Star Wars game is immediately enjoyable and offers many characters to play as. In single player you enter Galactic Conquest mode where you basically go round planets and fight battles, if you win you get an upgrade for your army but what dissapointed me mose was I couldnt play as a jedi they're NPCs that appear after ... ...battles you've seen in the Star Wars films, pretty cool but it is shortlived. The game is a third person shoot em up. You pick a class of soldier/droid/clone and wookie :D and jump in and blast your enemys to oblivion using your guns, which vary depending on which class you choose,turrets, vehicles and spaceships like the X wing. You can also issue basic commands to any AI near you such as Follow me or Hold Position which is nice.

Star Wars games are very much like the new films - much anticipated but don't quite live up to expectation. This game bucks the trend in many ways - its great fun and looks fantastic but not quite enough for true longevity.
It does, however, do exactly what it sets out to do: create an immersive frantic battleground on which to go to war with the enemy on various planets in the star wars universe.
The in-game graphics are excellent, the colours ... ...thrilling to fight alongside one).
Star Wars fans will love this and non-Star Wars fans will greatly enjoy the gameplay but their interest will probably wane more quickly. This is great fun to play and you'll find yourself hooked on the frantic gameplay and atmosphere evoking environments. ...

Advantages: Big maps, Graphics Disadvantages: Not a very long game, no lightsabres
There are three game modes which are:
Campaign At the start of each battle you will have a short movie clip and then you have to battle on different planets
Galactic conquest In this you have got to take over planets
Instant Action This lets you make you own battle, you can pick what maps you want to play on and who you want to battle with
Each game mode it basically the same and you will find you self playing the same map over and over ... ...excellent and so is the game play, despite being very repetitive its still a lot of fun
At each battle you can select who you want to be. Each person has different weapons and skills. You can choose from about 3-5 different troopers, this changes depending what map you are playing on. These can be any thing from a soldier, sniper, cannon firer and a lot more. One of my favorite is the stormtrooper that has a jet pack.

I have not extensively investigated the single player aspect of this game so cannot pass judgement on it and as someone who has not seen the films it does not interest me that much. However in multiplayer mode this game is excellent fun for all concerned! It has computer controlled players that make formidable enemies, and lots of them! It reall feels like entering a full scale battle, unlike some games where u simply shoot at your opponent and them ... ...it is possible to lead a full on attack against your foes involving many friendly and enemy players. There is the option for you and your friends to play either on the same or opposing teams, which makes for lots of fun teaming up together and attacking or fighting each other. it is however, very easy to go through a whole battle without seeing the other human players at all, whether they are on your side or not. another option is to fight a whole ...

Battlefront2 is the sequel to the hugely popular 'StarWars: Battlefront'. The game takes all of the best elements from the first game and adds even more into the mix making it a fun and addictive game to play.
The game is based in the StarWars Universe which will please alot of fans of the genre, however this does not limit it. Non-fans can easily enjoy the game as a stand alone shooting game.
The idea behind the game is that you control an average soldier running around on a starwars themed battlefield, typically made up of 150 troops a side. You can opt for standard trooper, heavy weapons specialist or sniper. As you build kills and gain points the next time you die other more advanced troopers may be available for respawning. This is quite simple fight your way through each level destroying any opponents that stand in your way, by whatever means available. Take over enemy posts and complete the mission objectives. battlefrontII differs from the first because it now features space battles and has a good selection of ships to fly. As well as this at times you will be able to play as StarWars heroes like, Obi-won Kenobi, Darth Vader, Boba Fett and Yoda as examples
