Star Wars: Specter of the Past - Timothy Zahn

This was a real page turner. I've read it several times. If you have read anything else by Zahn this will be no disappointment. He was the first to start writing new Star Wars books and the characters that he created are outstanding. No other author has created and added as much to the Star Wars universe as he has. The story that he writes is very similar to the original trilogy. My theory is that he wrote this book to control some of the wild stories that other authors had written and to bring the story back to its original context. Very thrilling. A real page turner.
