Gosh that is a phrase I hear most days now from my friends! Starbucks it would seems is the place to be! Forget the whole trendy bars in town! If you go to Starbucks your hip and happening! :-)
Starbucks has now got several cafes in our town center all in all I believe there are three or four! You can normally find one of this chain i most towns and citys!
SO HOW DO I ORDER?
Well when you enter you are normally first greeted with a stand containing panini's and sandwiches, futher on from that you are greeted by a display of many cakes and muffins for you too choose from! YUM YUM! At the end of all this line of many tempting goodies you come to the till which up above has a list of the many different drinks which you can purchase! They come in 3 sizes Tall, Grande and Venti! If you are unsure about what size to get your normally pretty safe with a tall or grande size drink, be warned VENTI is a very, very large cup of coffee! Once ordered and paid for at the till your drink will be freshly prepaired infront of you and you then go to the very end of the counter and wait for them to shout out your order for you to collect! But if you order a panini this may take longer than your drink to warm up, therefore normally a member of staff will bring it to your table once warm so you are able to get seated and start to relax as soon as!
CAN I ONLY STAY IN THEN?
No you can get both drinks and sandwiches / panini's, cakes, muffins to take out as well!
DO THEY ONLY DO COFFEE?
No they do lots of different drinks from different coffees to tea to ice drinks or if you really want you can just have a bog standard cup of tea!
Yes they do drinks such as mineral water and fruit juice but they also do fab ice drinks and ice blended drinks really worth a try in summer!
WHATS THE PRICE LIKE?
Well beverages vary from around two pounds to three pounds. Cakes are around a pound and panini's and sandwiches about two pounds to around three pound odd! Quite pricey but the food and drink I have found to be of good quiality!
WHATS THE CAFE LIKE INSIDE?
Pretty much plan but smart decor, with smooth music playing in the background. There are normal run of the mill wooden tables and chairs but there are lovley soft sofas and comfortable arm chairs around as well to relax in!! Its just a matter of grabbing them!
WHATS THE AGE RANGE LIKE?
It varys from mums with kids and babies to more mature ladies and gentlemen! All are welcome!
SO WHAT DO I THINK?
Well personally I love Starbucks! My favorite drink from there is Chai tealatte which they make skinny by adding skimmed milk instead of full fat which is great for my diet and its a great pick me up for the middle of the day I find! I also love their rocky road and they chicken and pesto panini's yum, yum! Starbucks is a pleasant place to sit and relax with friends too, although many a time I have been in alone and still feel comfortable! Your able to grab a coffee and sit and chat for hours if you want to with friends and theres no presure! The staff are very pleasant I have found, and the panini's and cakes are lovely too. I must admit I have tried Starbuck over in america too, in LA and nothing compares to there! But this uk version is as close to it as I am gonna get at least for this year! :-)
