Got my results and have passed everything, so good news there, but the hard part now will be finding a job that fits in with school hours and holidays!! Will worry about that once holidays are over...!

Created in the 1970's, Starbucks must be one of the most famous world-wide coffee chain. It is quite comforting in a way to know that no matter where in the world you are going, there is a good chance that you will find a Starbucks - comforting if it is something that you are used to.
In Inverness where I live there are 2 Starbucks stores, one is in the shopping centre in town, and the other is located within a Borders bookshop store in the town. I do not know what the one in town is like, although when I am passing it I quite often see mothers with children in it so it must be quite child-friendly.
I often visit the one within the Borders bookshop, mainly because there is nowhere else to go at the retail park just for a coffee. I was in Starbucks today actually and because it is located within another store it is not a huge store, although the best has been made of the space and it has been made to look quite long.
In this particular branch of Starbucks there are no comfy seats, just wooden chairs, so while it is nice to sit down and have a coffee I don't feel like waiting longer than I should (what I would do if seats were comfier!).
There are a lot of varieties of coffees so it is an ideal place to go if you are a bit of a coffee expert or addict. There are also teas, smoothies and a selection of other drink, so if you don't particularly like coffee you aren't alienated. There is also a selection of food - sandwiches and paninis, muffins and pastries, etc. I found to my delight the last time that they do low fat muffins (known as the skinny muffins), so you can eat and drink quite healthily there, between the low fat muffins and the smoothies.
What I don't like about this particular Starbucks is that when I paid today, I had to take my cake and two cups of tea over to a different area to get milk - which I found hard to do as there seems to be a lack of trays in the store. What I did like was the size of mugs that the teas came in - a regular size comes in quite a large mug.
Price of teas seemed dear but it's probably about average, we were £4.60 for two cups of tea and one cake, although I did notice that there is a big difference in take-away price and sit in price (£1.35 to take away a cake and £1.70 to sit in).
It is a nice clean coffee shop though with a lot of staff working there who seem to know their coffees.
