As i often have people round for dinner parties, i like to ensure that the food of which i prepare is of the highest standard and that it tastes fantastic. And this review is coming from someone that thinks cooking is putting something in the microwave! I cooked a roast last night and used this steamer in order to cook the vegetables. We had brocolli and sweetcorn. I was astounded at how easy it was to use and the value for money that it offers you. I bought the steamer when I became pregnant with my first son. I think this cost about £25 when I got it but they are much cheaper now. It is great for steaming vegetables (we are vegetarian) and saves up space on your hob or grill which is really handy if you are cooking for a lot of people. ...timer has quite a loud "ping" when it's finished so you will never miss it! As well as using it when I was pregnant it turned out invaluable when making baby food as you could cook loads of fruit and veg all at the same time.
