This is a good quality keyboard that offers good value for money in the short term. Although as with most electronic products, the value will deteriorate over time and should be anle to get a cheaper version next year. It incorporates most of the latest features and technology that is currently available on the market.
The consumer will have to spend a short period of self-training in order to become fully acquainted with using the product. This can be achieved fairly efficiently by making reference to the guide/instructions that comes in the box.
After using this product for a few months I have not so far come up against any reliability issues but only time will tell. I therefore have to recommend the product. ...

Advantages: Separated keys; very nice to type on, very nice to look at (doh!) Disadvantages: None really
!
The keyboard's USB cord is quite small although it comes with an extension cord incase you need it.

Manufacturer's product description
SteelSeries 7G sets new industry standards for gaming keyboards by allowing users to perform the most detailed and advanced key combinations to date. By utilizing the most powerful PS/2 buffer-system ever created for a gaming keyboard, SteelSeries 7G redefines "anti-ghosting" by supporting as many simultaneous key presses as there are keys on the keyboard. The keyboard features both PS/2 and USB connectors. The use of PS/2 (combined with a gold-plated USB connector) and 18K gold-plated mechanical switches, means that SteelSeries 7G offers more Actions Per Minute than any other keyboard in the world, gaming grade response times and more than six times the durability of a traditional keyboard. SteelSeries 7G is equipped with audio ports for headphone-in and microphone-out and features two USB ports. The keyboard furthermore features SteelSeries Media Controls essential for gaming, allowing the user quick access to volume, mute and other audio controls.
