Advantages Comprehensive functions, includes phono leads
Disadvantages confusing interface

Clean v4.0 is undersold by its makers Steinberg. Its not clear on the box, but in includes phono leads, a nice audio recording program, the core Sound Processing software and simple but functional CD burning software. All of which can be used individually so you not forced into a one size fits all approach. If you want to record with a different audio recorder, use the Clean sound processing software and then burn with nero, you can do this it. As an added extra Clean also includes MP3 outputing software, but its crippled/limited to 20 MP3s because of licensing issues. This isn't a problem as ... more
