Advantages New vst's are great, Reliable product,
Disadvantages I haven't found any problems with the software.
This is a great update of the previous cubase version 4,
In my opinion the best feature on cubase 5 is the new vocal editor (pitch correction) allowing you to easily create the popular (t-pain effect).There is also new Vst's like Groove Agent ONE which works the same as a physical sampler used in studios. Hip hop producers tend to use this for playing sliced vocal samples or building beats.
There are also a whole load of effect vst's included. I think this package is all you need to create top quality music.I use cubase 5 daily and highly recommend this product to all producers, its easy to use and if your a beginner with music production all you need to do is check some youtube tutorials.
Cubase 5 can also be re-wired to reason which I think is amazing for more advanced music production.
