Chocolate Heaven Since 1911 Thorntons is a chocolate company established by Joseph William Thornton in 1911 in Britain. The year of establishment has been used in one of their famous marketing campaigns, "Chocolate heaven since 1911." According to an article I read Thorntons now has nearly 400 shops and cafes and a turnover over £180m. Thorntons Continental chocolates are their most popular assortment of chocolates. Apparently, sales of this range and Thorntons Special Toffee account for almost £80 million of Thornton's sales. It's easy to see why as in my opinion the chocolate are a great quality product with an even better taste. What I like about a box of Continental is that they are quite a posh box of chocolates. They make a great present as they are a bit nicer in my opinion than say a box of Roses or Quality Street ...

Review of Thornton Continental Basket

A Tea Set inside a Teapot...?

Advantages: Safe, plastic tea set complete with it's own unique storage box!
Disadvantages: If used with water or juice, carpet can become more of a swimming pool!!

My daughter recieved this Minnie Tea Set as an unexpected gift from her Great Aunt. The reason I say unexpected is that although I told many relatives to buy Cherith a gift from the Disney store, I never specified any specific items, and so any she did recieve were a complete surprise. Prior to Christmas The Disney Store had lots of beautiful gifts and toys at very reasonable prices, and as my daughter adores everything Disney I ended up sending all her well wishing relatives there!! As you can imagine, I had been in the Disney Store quite a few times myself before Christmas and had seen the Minnie Teapot several times, but had always gone for alternative toys. I bought her this delightful Woody figure with a working lamp and talking back pack for a measly £5. However after Christmas I ended up having to take it back three ...

Continental: Getting Less for More

Advantages: Good itinerary, reasonable price
Disadvantages: Poor service, inefficient processes, uninterested staff
