Advantages: Easy to push and steer, appears comfortable.
Disadvantages: Heavy to lift when folded, shopping basket awkward to get to.

...I bought my Mothercare urban detour twin alpine three wheeler pushchair 2 1/2 years ago after having twins. I needed a pushchair that was suitable for 2 newborns, easy to push and strong enough to last until my children were walking. We had looked at many before deciding on this one. The twin alpine is suitable from birth, has a lockable front swivel wheel, quick release rear tyres, pneumatic tyres with a pump, and comes with removable cosytoes, a raincover and a shopping basket. It is from Mothercare and is priced at £230. There has been has change in the fold mechanism since I bought mine. It is now one-handed but i can't comment on how easy that is. My pushchair has had heavy use, it is a dream to push, the children appear to be very comfortable in it and it is easy to fold and open. Disadvantages that I have found are that at 15... Read review

Advantages: very easy to push/steer can push one handed

...This pram is very good. It is a double forward facing 3 wheel pram. Suitable from birth. It is made by mothercare. It is very light to steer, you can do it one handed even with two toddlers in. There is a good storage basket underneath which will fit two large packs of nappies in as well as shopping. The rain cover is easy to put on and stores in the basket. The only draw back scan be how wide the pram is you can struggle to get around some shops and onto buses, and the back can only easily go into two positions flat and upright. You also need a large boot to put it in, a tip to getting it in the boot is to not put the closing catch on. The safety harness is a little on the small side for toddlers. This model has been replaced by the urban detour alpine which has now modified this fault. This model cost £199 with 2 foot muffs... Read review

Advantages: Excellent value for money. Lightweight and compact.
Disadvantages: Seat could be slighty more upright but doesn't cause great problems.
