The overall rating of a review is different from a simple average of all individual ratings.
Advantages:
Conventient, easy to use and they can be recycled
Disadvantages:
You have to open the pack yourself lol . I mean really how can there be a disadvantage to this ! Well maybe the teats could be a bit bigger but thats it ! !

I mean how convenient can things get when you don't even have to wash a bottle!
WHAT ARE THEY, WHERE TO BUY & HOW MUCH! *_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_
Well you’ve probably already guessed by the name of the product but I’ll tell you anyway.
These bottles are pre-sterilised and sealed for your convenience. I mean really, I’ve seen it all now, lol.
They come in a choice of three sizes:
125 ml bottles suitable from birth to 3 months with a medium-fast flow teat. You can buy these in 4&12 packs
250ml bottles suitable from birth to 3 months with medium-fast flow teat. You can buy these in 4, 12, 24 packs.
250ml bottles suitable from 3 months plus with fast flow teat. You can buy these in 4, 12, 24 packs.
Price’s vary depending on which pack you buy but if memory serves me correctly, you can buy 4 125ml birth to 3 month bottles for £1.85 from Boots. I haven’t seen these in any other stores but I’m sure they’re
going to be popular and will be available everywhere pretty soon.
PACKAGING *_*_*_*_*
Well the picture that accompanies this opinion is of the box these little beauties come in! The box is a lovely shade of blue, theres a picture of a bottle on the front and on the back it has everything you need to know before using the product.
WHY DID I BUY THEM! *_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*
Well I am currently breastfeeding my little girl but its not always easy to find somewhere private when out and about. I do have re-useable bottles at home but I tend not to use these much as I’m not very good at expressing myself if you know what I mean!
Anyway I was doing some shopping in my town centre and feeding time arrived. Oh my, when my daughters hungry she really lets it be known to all, first she gets restless and if she isn’t fed pretty soon then she can break windows with that cry of hers (ahhh).
I had tried all my usual Mother and Baby rooms but they were full to the brim with hungry babies and I couldn’t find a quiet spot anywhere so off I popped to Boots and quickly too I might add.
I picked up a box of Steri-bottles and a carton of SMA Gold infant baby milk (ready mixed I might add), which can be used to compliment breast fed babies.
I mean how convenient can you get!
Off we went to a cafe and settled down to read the directions.
DIRECTIONS *_*_*_*_*_*
On the back of the box there is a very easy to follow guide for use with infant formula but as I was using a ready made carton I found I could skip the first half of the instructions as they are based on how tomake up a bottle of formula milk. If you should need information on how to make up a bottle of formula milk, then you will find this information on the tin the milk comes in!
Anyway back to the rest of the instructions:
Always make sure you have washed your hands before you remove the bottle from the plastic cover.
The bottle comes in two parts. The cap(which covers the teat completely) and the base for fluids.
Once you have poured the milk into the bottle, screw on the cap. Make sure you have done this correctly as otherwise it will leak everywhere as I found out much to my surprise! Once the cap is in place properly then it will be leak proof and tamper proof.
Shake bottle if you need to mix your formula or if you’ve used a ready-made mix like me then your all set.
You may use a bottle warmer with this product but the directions do say not to use a microwave as this may create hot spots of milk, which could scald your baby’s mouth. I didn’t bother with either as milk at room temperature should be fine.
Please note that this is a single use bottle and once sealed properly it can’t be opened or re-used!
WHAT DID WE THINK OF IT *_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*
Well as a breastfed baby, she was a little bit shocked at this at first but after some convincing she did enjoy her drink in this wonderful product, lol.
Following the directions was simple enough and if there wasn’t any directions on the box it would be rather obvious on how to assemble the bottle anyway so there’s no worries there.
The bottle looks a bit cheap and nasty but for a single use item then I can’t complain about that really so I won’t!
The teat was a different matter. I bought the 0-3 month range and found the teat a bit on the small side. My daughter was only 6 weeks old when I first used these and so the teat should have been fine but I would buy the next size up next time. When she was sucking on the teat it completely disappeared and normally I would expect to be able to see some of the side at least!
Would I use them again?
Yes, I have found them very convenient and easy to use. They’re cheap and can be recycled so you don’t have to feel to concerned about the waste!
If I fed my daughter on formula milk then I’d probably give these a miss as using them on a daily basis would end up being rather costly but if your out and about and have forgotten to put your child’s bottle in your bag then head for a Boots near you and give them a go.
I give this product a full ***** rating for the simple convenience factor!!
