The best Sterilisator
Advantages: you can use it long long time and it works like new, Disadvantages: a little bit expensive
I have bought used steriliser but in very good condition. I am still using it and I have it one year and it is still looking and working like new. It works fast and clean accurately. It is very useful and comfortable. Steriliser is easy to clean. You need to only de-scale your sterilisator every 4 weeks for 2 minutes and next rinse it.
Bottles after sterilising are very clean and safe for a baby. I am very satisfied for use it. Only one disadvantage ... ...I keep my steriliser in the kitchen and this is a little bit uncomfortable because my kitchen is small and steriliser is quite big. But it does not matter because my son is most important for me and everything is for him. It is very needed and practical thing if you have a baby. When the bottles are sterilising you can play with your baby the same time. ...

Steaming Away the Baby Bottle Bugs
Advantages: Portable, practical, quick and hassle free sterilising Disadvantages: Cycle can take up to six minutes with older microwaves
...child, we invested in an Avent Microwave Steam Steriliser rather than an electronic version – mainly because of its portability and ease of use – and we were quite pleased with it. Babies need the stuff they use sterilised to ensure their immune system doesn’t have to work overtime to fight off any nasty bugs that may be lurking on it. Although a thorough wash in the sink with hot water makes equipment cosmetically clean, you need really high temperatures ... ...our old Avent Steriliser from the attic, but despite a thorough clean before we stored it, it looked a little worse for wear. As such, we decided to buy the new, upgraded model. Enter the Avent Express II Microwave Steam Steriliser. WHAT IS IT? The product is essentially a large bowl with a clear plastic lid. The lid has two clips – one on either side to fasten it to the bottom half. Inside the bowl is a blue moulded and shaped rack that has ...

avent steam steriliser mixed feelings
Advantages: Holds alot of bottles, fast process Disadvantages: Hard to store needs cleaning alot
I have got mixed feelings about this product. It is good in a way that 6 bottles were supplied with it and a bottle brush for them when a pack of 4 bottles will cost £20. It is a fast process to sterillise the bottles and it does do the job that was intended.
However it is a big appliance and if you are short on space in your kitchen area like myself that is one of the downfalls because it is hard to store unless you are going to pack it away after ... ...a new born in the house. Another downfall is how many times you have to de-scale it which takes 10 minutes every time you have to do this process. I found i was de-scaling it every week to two weeks. Where in the manual it stated it would be every 3 to 4 weeks maybe longer.
I would definately shop around to find a good steriliser but this one I cant say I would recommend unless it doesnt have alot of usage and you have a very big area to keep it. ...

something cheap that works!
Advantages: cheap and cheerful Disadvantages: no display
...go and pick up this Lindam Universal Steam Steriliser. First opinion
It came in a box which was quite small so easy to carry but did make me wonder about the size of the steriliser, would it actually fit any bottles in?!
Once home and unpacked it was a nice surprise to see that the whole box was taken up with steriliser, there wasn't random packaging taking up space only to be thrown away. The steriliser was half the size of our old one ... ...we needed sucha big one in the first place especially as Baby B only has 1 bottle a day anyway. Instructions
The steriliser instructions were very simple so I could follow them easily whilst trying to distract a crying baby! There is a red light on the frront of the steriliser, which, when you plug it in, turn it on, fill with water it turns on but this only happens the very first time, after this first sterilising cycle it doesn't do it ...

Fresh as a Baby's Bottle.
Advantages: Keeps your baby's feeding equipment clean and safe for them. Disadvantages: It is very hot if you open the lid up straight away after it has finished sterilising.
...I decided on the Philips Avent steriliser, as Avent are one of the leading reputable manufacturers for baby products, so I knew they were a brand I could trust. It also came fully equipped with a few essentials which were a great added bonus. I liked the look and design of the bottles which I feel is another important aspect when considering which steriliser you want, as some bottles are shaped differently or are wider which means they may not ... ...box * Philips AVENT Airflex bottle 125ml with newborn Airflex teat * Philips AVENT bottle 260ml with medium Airflex teat * Philips AVENT bottle brush * 2 x Philips AVENT soothers * 1 set of tongs & measuring jug * Sachets of Citric Acid for cleaning the unit The box isn't much bigger than the unit itself as all of the components were packed in the steriliser along with the plug. Inside the unit is a removable rack with two shelves, with holes ...
