Advantages: easy to use and maintain Disadvantages: none that I know of
...I bought my stihl hedge trimmer 3 years ago second hand, and must say that it out does the rest. With being keen on gardening and running a maintenance business I chose the petrol version.
The cutters are very easy to strip down and sharpen when needed and then easy to put back together. They cut any type of hedge with ease as others I find do not cut conifers well.
I find the stihl hedge trimmers cut through thickness of up to an inch with no effort at all.
I would highly recommend the stihl range to any person setting up or running a maintenance business as it is more reliable then most I have used.
I have goto say that stihl out does the rest....

Advantages: Excellent Cutting Action, Long Cable on Electric Version Disadvantages: Jams, Judder!
...Well having had the Stihls' for 6 months now i can say i have tested thoroughly these performance shears clippers. My opinion is that whilst they serve their purpose in the scheme of things they only do so "sufficiently." I've now had a couple of major jams from thicker twigs and i'm wondering if i should have taken the other reviews of the Stihls' which were not particularly positive, more seriously.....
I, however do not agree with the harshest of these reviews but find myself aligned with those whom are "for" them, in fact I've found I really do rather like their firm, efficient operation.
I cannot recommend them without reservation to anyone, but for those of us on a limited budget who has a preference for the reliable kind of tool then they might just be your bag!
Thanks for listening....

...Stihl HS 45 are one of the best buys that I have made they are Light for garden trimming. With Elastostart for comfortable starting. Available in two blade lengths; 45cm/18" or 60cm/24".
Stihl is a well reccommended make and all I buy.
HS45 Specification:
Displacement 27.2 cm³
Power output 0.75/1.0 kW/bhp
Weight with cutter, without fuel 4.6/4.9 kg
Bar length 45/60 cm
I bought my HS 45 about two years ago for about £245, which they are about the same now for the 24" model, go for the longer blade for the extra reach. They do not need a lot of maintenance a quick spray of oil after use, and a service once a year, I sharpen mine with a dremmel. I would reccommend the hs45 for larger hedges, as they are well up to the job, I have used them on my conifer hedge, where it gives a really nice finish, privot...

This is the ideal fridge for any size family. I have now had this fridge for about 5 months and I must say I am very impressed. I did not want a fridge freezer that was half and half, as I already had a big freezer that we keep out in the garage. ... more
I bought this steamer mop about 6 months ago .
I have mostly hard floors in my house, 1 very large boisterous dog and 2 mucky kids so I hate having to mop the floors.
I thought i would try a simple steam mop, I didn't want anything to flash or a... more
