Stila Illuminating Tinted Moisturiser: A Great Buy!

Advantages: Gives you a glow, good quality, pleasant texture and smell
Disadvantages: Possibly the price, some skin types may not like the consistency.

What is it, and what does it claim to do? An illuminating tinted moisturiser from Stila. Unlike many products, it doesn't make any major claims in writing on the product or packaging. For uses it states that it can "provide moderate protection from sunburn", due to it's SPF 15 rating. However, most people that buy it use it for it's illuminating effects, and the sunscreen factor is an added benefit. Packaging The 50ml product comes in a simple brown box with a sticker on the top telling you which shade you have inside. It is straightforward, non-fuss packaging which gathered no complaints from me. If you prefer to save make-up boxes, then this one would survive a box of similar toiletries without becoming too scruffy. I personally like the simplicity of the packaging, though with my eco-hat on, I should probably ...

Murad Correcting Moisturiser SPF15

Advantages: It reduces redness
Disadvantages: Nothing its amazing

My face has always been "rosy" and becomes more so with exposure to the elements, which doesn't help because I spend a lot of time outdoors. I started using this moisturizer last summer to soothe my skin before and after a day in the sun. I love that it includes an SPF! Now that it's winter, I love it even more. The cold temperatures and winds usually turn my face red and puffy to the point of stinging, but now when I get in I put on the Correcting Moisturizer to quickly calm my irritated skin. And my skin isn't flaky and dry anymore either! It's soft and healthy looking! This is defaintly great for For Rosacea-like redness and concerns. It Neutralizes and protects dry, irritated skin by minimising redness with colour correcting tint and shielding against sun irritation. My beuatician told me that Goji Berry Extract that in this ...

Review of Murad Correcting Moisturiser SPF15

Is it makeup, or just good skin?

Advantages: Looks like you're not wearing makeup, gives a healthy glow
Disadvantages: Expensive at full price, might be shiny on oily skins

As a girl with good clear skin (most of the time!) and no wrinkles I hate wearing foundation. To me it seems pointless using it if all you have is a slightly uneven skin tone - it's thick, either too dry/too wet, feels horrible and unnatural, and often creates horrible spots on my face due to my skin being unable to breathe. So?when I discovered tinted moisturisers I decided that was the way forward. Up until now I'd been using Shiseido's tinted moisturiser from their 'The Skincare' range but having run out I scouted round strawberrynet.com where I bought it only to find they don't sell my shade any more :( Stila's equivalent seemed a sensible choice given that I'm short of money and it also won first prize in The 21st Century Beauty Bible in the tinted moisturiser category. SHEER COLOR TINTED MOISTURISER SPF15 The only thing I ...
