Nicobrevin
Advantages: an all natural product that works Disadvantages: unable to buy in shops....
...there were no patches, and nicobrevin was readily available in most chemist or health food shops.
its a twenty eight day course and did not smoke for 7 years after Then i stupidly started again,i have tried the NHs stop smoking scheme, on patches which are great untill you come off of them! so i am back on nicobrevin into my 2nd day and im holding on, and i hope to complete the course this time around, although i am finding it harder to give up ...

I Still Wanted A Ciggie
Advantages: Cheaper and healthier than 20 ciggies Disadvantages: Didn't stop me smoking
...it for a while.
Nicobrevin Gum is perhaps one of the most bizarre aids to giving up smoking that you will come across. It's a nicotine free gum, claimed to be at its most effective when used along side the 'Nicobrevin 28 Day Capsule Course' (also nicotine free) but available to purchase alone as a support to break the habitual side of smoking addiction.
The theory is that when you get the urge to reach for a ciggie you reach for the gum instead. ... ...with it...
My Nicobrevin hell
Day 1
-------
08.00 - wake up, want a ciggie, have a piece of gum instead. YUK! Chew a bit, YUK! Chew a bit more, YUK!
08.10 - still chewing, YUK! Can't stand the taste any longer. Spit out gum, have ciggie, feel so much better.
09.00 - hmmm, ciggie time? No! Piece of gum. YUK! Tastes as vile as it did before. Chew a bit, YUK! 09.15 - fighting the urge to spit. Still chewing, YUK! Have a cup of ...

Old ladys with pins!!
Advantages: the packet is shiny, you dont smell Disadvantages: itching, craving, sarcasm, grumpiness, the stupid price
so a few days ago i decided to have my last cigarette. it was a glorious day and i stepped outside, sat under a tree and smoked my last ever smoke. i was slightly dissapointed that my last smoke had to be a pall mall, but i enjoyed it all the same. i got a packet of seven full strength, 24hr patches thinking that after this week i would be fine and i wouldnt need them anymore. the price pissed me off at $32, i only spend half that on cigarettes a ... ...the first day i didnt use the patches because i wanted to wait untill the next day before i put one on.thinking i could go a day without a smoke easy. so i woke up early the next day after a troubled nights sleep of craving a smoke. had a shower and put one of those bad boys on. all was going fine for about ten minutes. untill it started to itch . . . . .. now this is no ordinary itch, this is the sort of itch that makes you want to smoke. Although ...

Wicked-510 TITAN E-NI or Electronic Nicotine / Cigarette
Advantages: No smell, no tar, no CO2 Disadvantages: Can be expensive at the start, refilling carts can get messy, potentially dangerous
I've tried many electronic cigarettes / inhalators on the market and in its category this in one of the best. The idea behind this sort of device is to give you an alternative to smoking tobacco products, although it is important to mention that these aren't marketed as a smoking cessation device. The Titan 510 is a three piece device made up from a battery, an atomiser and a cartridge. Since using this (and other similar ones) I have not smoked ... ...The batteries are either automatic (in that they activate when you draw upon it like a normal cigarette) or manual whereby you press a button to switch it on. They're often advertised with a life of about 4 hours, but I've found that half this is the case. The atomiser which sits in the middle, despite its space age name, is essentially a tiny heating coil that heats the liquid and produces the vapour that your breathe in. Finally the cartridge is ...

Royal Smokers' M7, my first e-cigarette
Advantages: no smoke, no tar, no burning side-products, you don't smell nasty, no ash, you can smoke in bed! Disadvantages: starting price, battery needs charging kinda often, you feel funny at first
The M7 e-cigarette from Royal Smokers
I reckon almost everyone's heard about an electronical cigarette already. But what is it really good for, what does it feel like and isn't it maybe even worse (healthwise) than ordinary cigarettes? That were questions I was asking myself after a mate introduced his e-cigarette to me a couple of weeks ago, so I started my own research. Entering the first big tobacco shop and asking about e-cigarettes I ... ...them and I hope we never will, coz it's way worse than the normal cigarettes, it's even way more expensive...blabla!" This got me even more curious. The e-cigarette consists of:
1. Battery - the long part, which in a normal cigarette would be filled with tobacco. The battery is a rechargeable Li-on and lasts approx. as long as a pack of regular smokes. In the M7 package you get only an USB charger, but it's not a problem to get an adapter ...
