Disadvantages: none, got to be worth a try.

...the inhalator, i went to boots & collected my starter kit of 1 inhalator & 6 caplules, also a follow on pack of 36 capsules. the inhalator is not much like a cigarette, a bit too stubby & short to hold like one. tha capsules fit in to it very easily, just pull the inhalator apart, push in the capasule & push the 2 parts together again. it,s really simple & quick to do. there is a very detailed booklet that explains everything clearly & concisely. ...
...but i found that i was only using about 4 a day, although i still had about 4 or 5 "proper" cig,s a day as well. the booklet explains that it,s ok to do this, as long as you wean yourself gradually. the taste is really nothing like a real cigarette, but surprisingly it does give you a releif from the craving for a while. I am still in my first week and am quite pleased to have gone from 20 - 30 a day down to 4 or 5, and not to be climbing the walls. ...

Disadvantages: Sickness burning still want to smoke

...have ever tried tho the Nicorette version is exepensive to say the least that is the first down fall but you can get cheaper versions that will only cost you from about a £1 poundland did do one but I havent seen them in there lately but if you do want to try them i would look for the cheapest version due to they taste the same which is nasty and they burn your throught and tongue and that nasty taste will last in your mouth for what seems forever. ...
...the taste I wouldnt have one when I did get a craving I would much prefer to have a cigerette. If you do want to quit the best thing I found was my doctor who prescribed me tablet unfortunatly if you suffer from any sort of depression dont take them they make you worse but you will recive regualr support from the nurses and they do work. Try support groups too they can be alot of help but if you set that date to quit stick to it but I would advise ...

Niquitin CQ Lozenges - Have helped me!

Advantages: Helps you to quit smoking! I found it helped with food cravings
Disadvantages: Funny taste to begin with

I was recommended these by my GP when visiting their 'stop smoking' clinic. I found the lozenges very useful and help with any cravings. They come in 4mg for heavier smokers and 2mg for the milder smoker. The flavours are either plain (taste a bit sweet) or mint flavour (Minty!). You are meant to place one between your cheek and gums and alternate between each side of the mouth, they slowly dissolve in about 30 mins or so. The great thing I found ...
...as you cannot eat or drink when you have one in your mouth. The taste takes a short while to get used to (a bit spicey maybe?) but not long. You start with 1 lozenge every 1 - 2 hours then gradually reduce the amount you have over a period of time (The pack comes with instructions). Overall I found this to be a good product and have given up for nearly 2 months!! ...
