A king of removables
Advantages: a great make, a very useful item Disadvantages: is a little bit flimsy
...card reader was made by Kingston and I am aware from past purchases that Kingston are a reliable manufacturer creating strong and highly effective removable storage devices. They also seem to have one of the greatest ranges of removable media from novelty memory sticks n the shape of Lego or a specific character, as well as memory sticks able to hold a lot of memory. The card and reader bundle was a bargain at only £3.99. The size makes it very potable ... ...powers up very quick. The Kingston card reader is classed as a 'plug and play' device meaning it automatically opens and file transfer is fast and effective. The memory stick itself is small and compact. It folds up neatly into its casing making is convenient to carry. It has a mini lanyard that can connect to a set of keys, neck strap or even the phone itself. I purchased the 'black' version although it is available in an orange-red colour. I thought ...

USB Card Reader With Free 1GB SD Card
Advantages: 9 in 1 card reader, 1GB SD card, Compact design Disadvantages: None
The Kingston MobileLite 9-in-1 Card Reader is the only device you need to store, transfer and read data on any USB enabled device. As I use a variety of flash cards for mobile phone, digital camera and camcorder.
This card reader is designed with a USB 2.0 connector which is ideal to connect via you PC or laptop. It has memory expansion slots that support nine different types of SD and MMC flash memory cards. It also comes with a 1 GB SD memory ... ...year warranty
Overall the Kingston MobileLite 9-in-1 Card Reader is a very useful device if you have a variety of other devices which use media cards for storage. When in use the MobileLite shows as three drive letters G:, H:, I: and transferring data is simply drag and drop. I bought this from Ebay and got it very cheap for £5, it retails at around £20. This was a bargain as you can't even get a 1GB SD card for that price. Overall a decent and ...

Why has no-one thought of this before?
Advantages: easy clever little Disadvantages: None I can find!
...is fair enough, not polished chrome but seems decent.
I'm finding it to be very smart indeed and a really good investment for less than £20. Memory stick......SD card reader....little size...big memory. Dead simple, almost obvious idea. Brilliant!
Oh, and Kingston give a 5 year guarantee as well! ...

Exactly What It Says...
Advantages: Can replace a USB drive and be used to transfer digital photographs Disadvantages: Stiffness in covers
The Kingston TravelLite really does exactly what you would expect of it: there is a slot at one end to insert an SD or MMC card, and a USB series A plug on the other.
SD cards are very cheap now (I picked up a 2GB card on Amazon.co.uk for £6.49; at time of writing they are selling 1GB cards for £2.45 and 512MB cards for a tiny ten pence). This makes this reader, used in conjunction with an SD card, a perfectly reasonable alternative to a USB flash ... ...as it has to accommodate the card). Using it in this way also provides greater flexibility: for example, I use a laptop with a built-in SD card reader, so I can have my card permanently inserted in there until I need to use my data on another computer, when I simply transfer it to the reader to take with me; I therefore have one extra USB port free for other uses.
Of course, this reader is not only useful in place of a standard USB flash drive. ...

Tiny Reader...Vast Capability
Advantages: Takes 18 different cards Disadvantages: Possible problem recognising reader when online
Delkin eFilm External card reader When my old card reader died on me, I rushed straight out to find a new card reader as I had about 200 plus photos waiting to be uploaded and printed and all on my camera card. To be honest, I wasn’t looking at high spec or anything else the reader had to offer – all I wanted was an external reader to enable me to upload photo images and so I went for one of the cheapest in the local computer shop (which is actually ... ...it. ************** DELKIN ************** Delkin companies are based over four main places, England, America, Canada and the rest of the EU.
