I bought this cooker when I moved 3 years ago. I wanted a double oven for those family sunday dinners, and a gas hob because I was fed up with my old electric hob taking ages to heat up.
I did a lot of research before choosing to buy a Stoves cooker, they seem to be one of the most reliable makes and good quality. It was an expensive buy but I thought it was worth it to get exactly what I wanted.
It is silver with smoked glass in the oven doors, the knobs are black and silver and it looks great.
This is a dual fuel cooker with electric ovens and gas hob, so you get the best of both worlds. The bottom oven is big enough for a 20lb turkey and is fan assisted. The top oven also contains the grill, and is not fan assisted.
The knobs are easy to turn and there is electronic ignition. The clock is easy to set and there is a timer.
The hob has a smoked glass lid, it automatically cuts off the gas if you close it with a burner lit. When shut it can be used as an extra worktop but I would not risk putting hot dishes from the oven on it. I bought mine from John Lewis for £449 with a two year guarantee, and it was delivered on the day I wanted it.
