I went to the Strada restaurant in Nottingham on a Saturday Lunchtime. Although it was quiet, the atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice, maybe a bit too quiet as there was no ambient music.

The staff I found very friendly and attentive. As it was a warm day, they did open the patio doors which we were sat near. However, as the restaurant was in a shady place, it was a little too cold.

They did have, what I consider to be a very extensive menu. I did have a good look at the pre-theatre menu which looked very good and value for money and I would gladly go back there to try that!

Off the main menu I chose the Chicken Milanase, which was delicious. The sauce was especially nice in my opinion compared to other places in which I have had the same dish and the portion size very generous (which is always a good thing!!).

I think that the prices are very good considering the market for similar styles of food in our area and I would gladly visit again, and maybe go for a full 3-course as the desserts sounded gorgeous! Although, I would say that I don't think I'd go there for a romantic meal, the decor and atmosphere didn't really seem suited to that.
