I have used this site only when I could not find what I wanted on Island Trading. The Strawberry site only offers brand new boxed products. Therefore you get a better selection but more expensive, I have worked out that what you actually save is the VAT. So it's a little similar in prices to Duty Free at the airport. But please be warned of the implications that arise when ordering goods as they are based in Hong Kong which is not stipulated on the website. Because the goods are being imported via the post they have to fill in a customs document which comes with the package. If you are unlucky as I was it could cost you far more than you imagine. When customs check the packages they are entitled if your order is over £18 to ask for duty, so not only do you have to pay duty but if customs have to open your package they will charge an extra amount too. So my £30 order cost an additional £22.50 in duty and customs charges resulting in the parcel not being the bargain I had hoped for. Of course not everyone is caught I think it's a case of your parcel being in the wrong place at the wrong time. But it is worth remembering this fact when goods come in from abroad. So be careful. They also claim to knock money off the prices (5 percent) if you find the product cheaper, I have done this and informed them but never got a reply.
