Woo!
Advantages cheap, quick delivery, good customer service
Disadvantages delivery can occasionally take a while, sometimes customs charges
I LOVE this website, i came across it by accident about a year ago and im totally hooked. Just the other day i bought a christian dior limited edition twist make up pallette. I also regularly buy my clinique foundation from this site as its £9.99 as opposed to being £17 from Harvey Nics & Debenhams.
The range of products Strawberrynet carried is immense, from Prada skincare to La Prairie to mens products. The content of largely for women but theres plenty for men too, The main roducts are womens skincare and makeup, theres also womens and mens fragrances, which arent hugely cheaper but you can come across the occasional bargain.
The site offers free delivery all over the world, and they also occasionally cover and customs charges that you might encounter, but this is at their discretion so if youre nice to them and email them and be polite they may well refund your charges. I have been told that if you make purchases over £18 then youre likely to have a customs charge slapped on your package because its coming from hong kong but im not sure how accurate this is. I know that this applies to anything you buy from cdwow which is also based in hong kong. Its easy to find what youre looking for on strawberrynet, on the left hand side of the screen theres a list of all the products and brands in the category youre looking at so if you want to browse at leisure you can spend ages looking through them and picking out what you want, or if you want something in particular you can search for it.
If you want to buy makeup its a good idea to visit a counter in a store and get the name of the colours that you want, especially foundations, because the pictures for foundation arent that great and you might end up with completely the wrong colour if you arent sure. So make sure you check that out. Also you might want to compare prices to the prices on the high street and other discount websites to ensure that youre getting the best value for money, although ive got to say that its rare that strawberrynet is beaten on price. Other websites I use are lookfantastic.com, directcosmetics.com, buycosmeticsdirect.com and hqhair.com - hq hair isnt cheap by any stretch of the imagination but they stock a good range of products that are difficult to get hold of in the UK, such as Tony & Tina and Cake Beauty.Strawberrynet offers extra discount to members and people who purchase over three items at a time, so the more you buy, the more you save basically, this can be a problem though because its really tempting to buy loads and loads of stuff just because its cheap, which defeats the object of using a cheap store in the first place! If youre as bad as me though youll have to lean to pace yourself and limit youself to only visiting the store once a month or so otherwise youll end up with a dressing table that could compete with a beauty counter at a department store!

I ordered more than £18 worth of goods from CD-WOW before Christmas (didn't we all?) without incurring any customs charges. To be honest, I hadn't even given the possibility any thought. ~Sharon
