At first when I purchased the Nintendo ds lite I must admit I think I'd made a big mistake, there wasn't a lot of games available and I knew I'd get bored of it, Recently there's being a few games out and there's an internet browser which I love as you can email friends when your on holiday if the room has a wifi connection, I also love the fact the there's lots of flash cartridges available which are rewritable and I can upload msn onto the flash card and use it like I would use it on the computer. The Nintendo DS Lite, is a sleeker, Nintendo DS. Nintendo DS Lite

Advantages: Lots of games and easy to use
Disadvantages: Has been replaced by newer one now

The Nintendo DS Lite is the newer version of the hand held Nintendo DS games console. There is now an even newer one called a DSi but my review is on the older DS Lite. I love my DS as it is so easy to use. It can play such a wise range of games that people of all ages will find something they like to be able to play on this. There are things like barbie and animal games for small girls and shooting adventure games aimed at younger boys. But then there are some clever puzzle and brain training games that people of all ages will enjoy. The actual console is really easy to hold, it is a great shape and closes to keep the 2 screens safe from damage. It comes in lots of different colours now. Nintendo DS Lite : 'Flipping Brilliant'

Advantages: Wide range of games, cheaper than consoles, portable and light weight.
Disadvantages: Cannot play films, store or play music on the DS unlike the Sony PSP console

.83 by 2.83 by 5.25 inches which basically equivilates to a handheld that is 39 percent smaller than the original. One thing that remains the same is the size of the two screens, The front of the system is unchanged, with the volume control, the GBA game slot, and the in-line-enabled headphone port are in the same spots. The back end of the handheld console is basically the same. The only thing that's moved is the stylus holder, which is on the back of the system, to the left of the power switch. It looks a little more discreet, and the stylus fits a bit nicer. The DS Lite has four brightness settings and at its brightest, it's almost as good as the Game Boy Advance SP console.
