I have been a regular shopper with Studio Cards and Gifts for many years now and because of the extensive range of goods offered throughout each season, the excellent service provided and the reasonable prices, including discounts (details listed at read of catalogue), I will continue to use them for many years to come.

Like many people I first heard of Studio by an advert card inside a magazine, with which you simply complete your contacts details and return (postage paid) and then sit back and await delivery of your exciting new home catalogue.

When your brightly coloured jam-packed catalogue arrives you will be delighted at the 400+ pages of goodies they have to offer, and aside to the seasonal catalogue (spring/summer, Christmas) you will receive the latest sale pamphlet offering the last seasons goods at up to 50% discount!

This years Christmas catalogue has just arrived and being described on the front as ‘the one stop Christmas shop’ what better way to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee when you’ve 10 minutes to spare than to get comfy with this little fellow and do your entire Christmas shop from your armchair.

<CONTENTS>
On the inside cover you will find your guide to skipping straight to specific items rather than browsing page by page, otherwise known as the contents page. This is divided into 6 colour-coded sections, each with sub-sections containing all the relevant goodies to tempt your spending power!

<blue> Christmas box – extra pages added of Christmas gifts
<pink> card shop – Christmas cards, wrap & dressings, calendars and diaries
<red> Christmas essentials – Christmas decorations, tableware and crackers
<green> fun house – sweets & treats, toys, jigsaws and books
<purple> gifts galore – personalised, toiletries, jewellery, collectables, wedding and everyday cards & wrap
<yellow> home style – kitchen, household, gifts for the home, bedding, crafts, health & beauty, car & DIY and audio & visual

Unlike other home catalogues, Studio stands alone in being able to offer a wide range of goods ranging from prices less than £1.00 to over £100 and doesn’t just cater for the house, garden or clothes (yawn) like other well-known catalogues.

<PRODUCT EXAMPLES>
OK so here I will give you a brief insight into what delights you will find and just how cheap they are!

**Christmas Box**
Here you have an extra 82 pages of all the kids favourite toys such as:
Harry Potter – moulding set £12.99, stamper set £7.99, PJ’s £12.99, Robe £14.99
Bob the Builder – remote control scoop £24.99, playhouse £19.99, cd rom £19.99
Tweenies – rocking chair £24.99, video £9.99, disco ball £14.99
Blue’s Clues – playhouse £14.99, barking blue £7.99, bath time blue £14.99
Bear in the Big Blue House – play set £14.99, inflatable chair £7.99
Winnie the Pooh – stamper set £7.99, personalised swimming towel £7.99
Thomas the Tank Engine – projector £10.99, play phone £9.99, watch £7.99

This section truly is a Christmas box as the things I have listed so far merely scratch the surface of the goodies on offer. Other such themes available are; Fetch the Vet WWF, Thunderbirds, Clangers, Bill & Ben, Bagpuss and of course the old favourites Action Man and Barbie. You will also be able to break away from toys if all is confusing and take a look at household and family gifts.

**Card Shop**
This section is dedicated to wrapping Christmas up when you’ve broke the bank, queued your legs off, taken all the headache pills and vouch never to leave the house and go shopping ever again.

Cards can be bought in packs as little as 5 to 50 and everything in between with prices from as little as £1.99 to £25 for a set of luxurious foil embossed personalised cards.

Wrapping paper is available in rolls starting at £1.99 for a 2m roll, to sets of 10 sheets and matching tags for £2.50 and single 8m rolls from £1.99.

Tags on average ate £1.50 for 15 but are often free when you buy the matching wrapping paper.

Gift boxes, card holders, metallic pens, bottle bags, bows, curling ribbon, Santa sacks coloured string, calendars, advent calendars and loads more is also available in this section (but I won’t list it all as you’re probably bored already).

And just to conclude this section you can find all of the above and more in every imaginable size and colour and to suit everyone’s budget.

**Christmas Essentials**
If like me you like to coordinate everything then the decorations, tableware and crackers and a lot more beside in this section will fulfil your dreams.

Whether you’re decorating the outside of your house with the Santa Sleigh and Reindeer £69.99, need a new tree and fancy a white noble pine tree (4ft) for £24.99 or you want to make the family chuckle with a hip swinging musical Santa for only £9.99 then the pictures here, let alone the prices will convince you that festive spirit needn’t cost the earth.

**Fun House**
For £9.99 you can pile on the pounds with a 1kg tin of Roses, or scoff your way to sickly heaven for £14.99 with a 1.5kg tin of Celebrations. Whichever you choose I’m sure you’ll celebrate in traditional Christmas style sat back in the armchair stuffed to the brim with the seasonal stomach ache.

For those naughty peeps amongst us you can send your loved one, secretly buy for yourself or surprise for the prankster Studio offers a small selection of saucy chocolates from bite size bums, bit size willies, peppermint peckers, ‘love potion’ liquor, kama sutra chocolates, adult novelty crackers and more for prices ranging from £3.99 to £14.99.

For those who’d rather not get into all of that you can stick with the port and cheese board gift set for £14.99, traditional toffee tray at £4.99 or bumper packs of sweets for kids of all ages for £5.98 and a whole load more besides.

**Gifts Galore**
In this the last but one section to the close of the catalogue you can choose from personalised toys and gifts (at no extra charge) such as a baby play mat at £14.99 and child’s cutlery set at £5.99. Your favourite tipples and engraved glass from £7.99, the classic his’n’hers bath towels at £12.99 and socks for the man in your life at £2.99 per pair.

Caught up in the middle you can find yet more novelty gifts from the boyfriend remote control £4.99, slippers that fart when you walk £14.99 and a cute polar bear that lets rip when you press his tummy for a bargain price of £5.99.

Also featured in this section are toiletries, costume jewellery, collector’s figures such as Cherished Teddies from £8.99, Piggin’ figures from £9.99, Wedding stationery and gifts that can be personalised and every day greetings cards, wraps and accessories starting at £1.99 for a pack of cards and £1.99 per roll of wrap.

** Home Style**
The final section is of course dedicated to treating your home and adding those final touches. This part of the catalogue caters for each room of your house and you will not only find all the basics offered in Argos and alike but in an exclusive range of weird and wonderful colours to brighten up your home.

For the kitchen you can have a new dinner service priced at £29.99 for a 20-piece set (BOGOF), toasters, kettles, sauce pan sets from £7.49 for 3 pans to connoisseur sets priced at £44.99 for a 4-piece set (reduced from £99.99).

You can light up your life with a range of ceiling lights, floor and table lamps from as little as £12.99, TV cabinets for the living room in various styles and colours from £49.99, curtains, clocks, oil burners, the lot…. The list really is endless.

You can also liven up your garden with ornaments or artificial plants for indoors. Bunk beds for the kids, storage cupboards in all shapes and sizes, rugs, bed linen, exercise machines, videos, TV’s, telephones and more, more, more (phew!).
