So i went to a pro-audio shop and listened to a few speakers (MSP5's, Genelec's, and fostex pm1's) but when they put these particular model on, i was blown away, i had the new boards of canada album to use for reference (amongst other cd's), and boy did it sound like it should have. ...get anything close to the Tannoy Reveals. If your budget doesn't stretch to £359 then why not take a look at Reveal's brother, the Reveal. Yes it's the same name minus the letter 'S' . These are the passive counterparts to the active model (you need a seperate power amp.) These retail considerably cheaper at around £150. So if you have a good power amp, then go get the Reveal now.
