Advantages: Perfect for a messy disheveled look
Disadvantages: Only suitable for short hair - not a strong a hold

All I can say is that, if you have short hair, this is a great great product for a messed up look, which doesn't endup looking greasy or wet. I read about this product in a hair magazine and thought I would try it as I had tried every other straightening balm on the market!
