Architect Wax - Hide your halo
Advantages: Shiny hair and no flyaway bits Disadvantages: Probably the longest named product ever
...in Boots I settled on L'oreal Paris Special FX Studio NEW Architect Wax, costing £3.99 for 75ml. It comes in a pale blue tub with a silver lid and has a funky mother of pearl effect label. The front of the label reads 'Texturising effect - silky shine, managable hold. Easy wash out water wax'
This appealed to me as I dont associate water with greasy hair and liked the fact it would wash out easily as waxes often cling for a couple of shampoos.
... ...product - blue with a purple sheen, almost holographic. It has a lovely clean smell, always a good point in hair products. The back of the label reads 'Be your own style architect! New Architect Wax blends perfectly into hair providing texture, definition and silky contrasted shine with long lasting manageable hold. The incredible water wax texture shampoos out easily. Distribute as desired on dry or towel dry hair.'
After styling my hair as normal ...

Indestructible until you wash it out!
Advantages: firm hold, easy to wash out Disadvantages: shinny look, easy to apply too much
My hair is quite short and I like it to be spikey. Typically, I alternate between waxes and gels and use whatever I have in the bathroom, as I don't think there is much of a difference for my length of hair. Recently though I saw a television advert for L'oreals Indestructible gel and was quite impressed by the claims it made. It featured a breakdancer who was standing on his head and rubbing his hair back and forth across the floor whilst dancing. ... ...same afterwards as it was before; was this gel really indestructible? The next time i was shopping I bought a 150ml tube costing approximately £3.50, a reasonable price. The packaging was pretty snazzy, but I was just interested in whether it performed better than the products I already used. I have used the product a number of times now and I must say I am very impressed with it. It holds your hair in an extremely rigid position for hours on end ...

Awful!
Advantages: Nothing Disadvantages: Everything
DO NOT BUY THIS! It is terrible! Seriously. I am a big fan of bedhead, I own many of their hairsprays and haircare products. But seriously, what is this??? Its horrifying! It has a horrible smell and has a horrible feel to it. I put it in my hair and it just makes my hair look like a sticky, stiff mess. There is seriously no use to this. I recommend it for halloween or something. Its purely awful. The bottle its in is very weird as well ;S Im guessing ... ...is by the way, very good, I have nothing against bedhead just this particular product) I bought this for a particular hairstyle I was very fond of which involved my hair layers flicking outwards and I wanted the wet effect. It just made my hair look like something off of a horror movie.. Perhaps this product would be best for a guys hairstyle. But it was horrible for me! Waste of money! ...

Fight the frizz with Tigi Bed Head Serum!
Advantages: Really does work, good for all types of hair, wavy, curly, frizzy. Attractive packaging Disadvantages: None at all!
...other of my friends! The Tigi Bed Head not only helps straigten but if wearing my hair curly it takes the frizz out... heres how!
The product comes in a 250ml bottle which is clear and shows the light green serum through it, which is great as you can see how much you have left. The product comes with black writting on the front with the 'Tigi' style writting and logo. To open the product there is a silver top which you simply twist to dispense the ... ...is Step 3 of the Tigi process, meaning that you should use the Tigi Shampoo and Conditioner before using this product. I have to be honest and say that I have never used the Shampoo and Conditioner with the serum but I have to say that the results are fantastic. Therefore, do not be put off by this as I am more than happy with the product.
To use the product you need to apply it to damp hair, I tend to let y hair dry naturaly for 20 minutes and ...

Tigi Bed Head Small Talk-This little bottle talks volumes!
Advantages: smell, packaging, lasts ages, lives up to its claims, multi-use Disadvantages: nothing major
...I first started using Tigi products when I bought the Dumb Blonde shampo/conditioner in a local hairdressers-Highly recommended. I came across this little Gem in TK MAXX and was intrigued by its berry-like packaging. Tigi is well known for its stylish packaging and in my opinion the Bed Head range does require a sense of humour, its packaging is quirky and bold as are its statements. In my opinion the products live up to it. Living in this wonderful ... ...frizzy in the summer to dry in the winter. My main problem is that whist I have lots of hair (past my shoulders) its really fine. When I was little it would'nt even stay in a bobble. I was looking for an all-in-one product, something that I could use before blow drying to give my hair a bit of va-va-voom and make it a bit more manageable and something to style it afterwards, to give it a little more edge. This product really delivers! The product ...
