Help me have Happy Curls!
Review of Salon Selectives Styling Mousse Curl Boost by
MACKAY1607
Advantages: Is the best mousse my 2 sisters and brother's girlfriend have used on our crazy curls.
Disadvantages: Not to be found in any shop. Can anyone help?
...if you defuse. Using Salon Selectives Curl Boost was a God Send as it was not a sticky heavy mousse but kind to curls. Does anybody still stock this miracle or has it been discontinued. I have not yet found another product which matches Salon Selectives. The price was extremely good value. I moved to Dublin 2 years ago and never found a shop which had it in stock so on my visits home I would buy 10 bottles to keep me going as they were under £1.00. ...

Review of Salon Selectives Styling Mousse Bodify by
emu128
Advantages: Works well, nice smell
Disadvantages: Sticky hands!
...BEST results, use with the Salon Selectives shampoo, conditioner and hairspray.
All is good with this product apart from one thing, you are left with VERY sticky hands! Not too much of a big problem, just something to get used to! Hope I've helped, I recommend this product to anyone who has thick curly or permed hair, it works wonders. Thanks for reading, Best Wishes

hard like hairspray
Review of Salon Selectives Styling Mousse Sleek by
vc123
Advantages: smells nice
Disadvantages: leaves your hair feeling hard in places
Salon Selectives styling mousse, I do NOT recommend it.
I usually use shockwaves mousse in my hair but for a change I thought I'd buy salon selectives because it was on special offer buy one get one free on 200ml bottles so stupidly I bought two bottles costing only £1.79 thinking I was saving money but really I wasn't because I had to buy shockwaves the next again day and throw this stuff away.
That night I was going out so I as usual washed my ... ...thought I'd be fine
Half way throught the night I went to the toilets to check my make up with the rest of the girls to see my once messy bodyful hair looking rather straight and lank.
The moral of the story: don't use Salon Selectives Styling Mousse! ...

own brands are just as reliable
Review of Boots Salon System Styling Mousse by
danniell
Advantages: great hold
Disadvantages: none
...looking at the mousses in boots i spotted that they make a mousse of there own, this is available in a range of holds but as i wanted mine to hold all day which is usually a long day i opted for the extra firm hold which comes in a purple metal tin with a spray nozzle on the top which is plastic and a plastic lid.
This mouse not only claims to be good for keeping your hair in style like i have brought it for but it also says that it protects from ... ...etc so maybe this will be becoming a year round product for me.
The first thing i noticed about this mousse that i realy liked other than the price was that it wasnt sticky, it didnt make my hands sticky when applying it and my hair didnt feel sticky once it had been styled.
It drys to leave my hair hard which is exactly what i would have expected from an extra firm hold product but another surprise of mine was how easily it brushes out without ...

Hold me firm
Review of Tesco Styling Mousse by
ChocolateChip
Advantages: Cheap and cheerful, with pro-vitamin B5.
Disadvantages: A bit watery, nozzle is a bit loose.
...she could to her nearest Tesco store (open 24 hours horray!). She discovered (much to her joy as she was skint!) that Tesco's in fact did their own hair styling range of products and found a lovely styling mousse with extra firm hold to purchase at the late night store, only 61p! it's a bargain and here's what she saw:
The tall purple and silver 200ml can was appealing to the young woman, the packaging stated that the styling hair mousse was extra ... ...and her hair still looked quite good as she stumbled back after a few too many wines.
So, the night was over. The young woman had triumphed with her cheapy Tesco hair styling mousse at only 61p, a great value for money and the product wasn't that bad either. ...
