LOCK IN CURLS WITH SHOCK WAVES
Review of Wella Shock Waves Creative Curl Boost Mousse by
minxy106
Advantages: Lasting hold without stickiness, smells good
Disadvantages: Too much can cause crispiness
...I noticed Superdrug were advertising Wella Shock Waves hair products as buy one get one free, so I purchased the curl boosting mousse and the strong hold hairspray, the two cost me £2.79 with the offer. I must point out that the mousse I bought isn't the same as the one pictured above, I think they have redesigned the bottle for the better I might add! My bottle is grey with black and green sqiggles on the front, alot simpler and more modern looking.
... ...and claims to give you strong defined curls. They rate their holding strength out of four, this mousse they give a two. They recommend that you apply to damp hair and either allow to dry naturally or diffuse dry with a hairdryer. It is ideal for both permed and naturally curly hair and brushes out easily.
I SAY...
.
I towel dried my hair and brushed it through, I applied my usual amount of mousse ( golf ball size) spreading it evenly through my ...

Wella done for a change!
Review of Wella Shock Waves Ultra Strong Max Volume Mousse by
khameleon
Advantages: Does exactly what it say's on the tin!
Disadvantages: Loss of pressure causes loss of mousse
...that any more.
-= Wella giv it a try =-
Now I know everyone's tried mousse as some point as had I before Shock Waves but I'm talking when I used to play with my mum's mousse when I was little. I remember mouse just being a product that you put on your hair to get it wet enough to style it and maybe if your were lucky enough there would be a bit of hold there for you until you got to the car. How things have changed! So, I got this product becasue ... ...bit I soon realised that Wella had the perfect match for my hair, Ultra Storng hold and Max Volume.
Once home I applied the mouse onto my washed damp hair and styled as I normally do then gave it a mild blow with the hairdryer for about a minute just to seal my style in. Well, I can only say I was amazed at the result. For the first time in ages I looked pretty trendy and without much effort at all, after all I was only trying the mousse not going ...

Shockkingly Good Results
Review of Wella Shock Waves Strong Big Body Mousse by
Tomethyvongrimm
Advantages: Volumises, adds bounce, fullness and thickness.
Disadvantages: A little sticky
Ive being wanting fuller, thicker hair for a while now so ive being pondering over shampoos and such- but i found a much easier way in 'Shockwaves Boost It! Volumising Mouse' The results were fantastic as a result I use it everyday to give my hair alot more volume, fullness, texture, and bounce. My hair even feels thicker and looks great. I have naturally fine (but lots of it) hair which lacks volume on top.
-SMELL.
The smell of the mousse is sweet ... ...got compliments on it!
-MOUSSE.
The mousse is light and easy to scrunch into hair, blends in well and dosent leave annoying white bits dotted in your hair not sticky either. When mousse runs out a liquidy substance is left (that works aswell as the mousse) which is quite sticky but again, works very well.
-BOTTLE.
The bootle is an eyecatching vibrant red cylider shape with SHOCKWAVES up the left side and stating which kind this mousse is (Ive ...

Shine me up baby!
Review of Wella Shock Waves Moussing Wax by
tev_1
Advantages: Cheap effective product, gives shines and strong hold
Disadvantages: Can make hair a bit greasy and crunchy if you use too much
Wella ShockWaves is the UK's number one styling brand, offering a wide range of products aimed at a predominantly youth market as the advertising tends to feature young fashionable people with directional looks and hairstyles, although whether you're 17 or 71 this is a fantastic value styling range. Wella describes ShockWaves products as offering 'Maximum Impact with Minimum Fuss'. Moussing Wax is indeed a product that is easy to use, producing effects ... ...to extreme heat. Wella ShockWaves is a great range and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to play with their hair or simply wants to add a little pizzazz to a tried and tested 'do. The beauty of the products lies in the fact that they are so cheap, retailing at approximately £3 each but frequently available on special offers - when I purchased this product in Boots you could buy any 2 Shockwaves products for £3 - bizarrely, cheaper than buying ...
