Subaru Impreza GX Sport
Advantages: Lovely car to drive, great handling, very safe feel Disadvantages: NA
...although I dont have my subaru anymore wished I still did.
I bought a Subaru Impreza GX sport, 2l normally aspirated engine in September 2003. Although I only owned the car for about a year, I had to sell for financial reasons I thoroughly enjoyed the driving and after sales experience.
My garage were always helpful and fixed anything that went wrong (although in the time I had the car not very much went wrong!)
The car itself was a pleasure to ... ...I had driven in the past. The car felt like it hugged the ground which was reassuring as I had a 4yr old son and safety is important.
Overall I would not hesitate to buy a Subaru again and would definitely recommend the GX sport to anyone without hesitation. ...

...The fuel consumption of the Subaru Legacy 2.2 is rated between 21 and 35 mpg by Parkers Price Guide.
What I think
I like this car as it is extremely comfy. There is a lot of room in it. And it has 4 x 4. I bought this car as I have a horse and I go to lots of horse shows. This car is useful as I can put all the tack etc in the boot as there is plenty of room. And it is ideal for towing a horse box. The 4 x 4 makes it ideal for driving round the ...

Subaru Legacy 2.5i SE Tourer (estate) 2004 model
Advantages: Original, refined, handling and ride, reliability, dealers Disadvantages: Highish CO2 rating
...maybe knowing something about the Subaru Impreza, due to its World Rally Car fame, I am going to guess that there are some of you reading this that are unaware that Subaru manufacture a larger car too, the Legacy.
For those of you in that particular boat, and unless your Great Uncle Bill left you something in his will (no I didn't get the Rolls, just in case you were wondering) - and we won't go there right now - I will have to explain to you what ... ...in Germany and importantly for Subaru now, Saab in Sweden.
Of all the worlds car manufacturers I have always regarded Subaru a little 'odd ball' or eccentric. Their, until recently two car, range were purchased exclusively by rallying enthusiasts in 'the-know', but outside of that circle and the farming community, were largely ignored by the Great British motoring public.
However there are certain areas of the country where Subaru's are very popular ...

WHY IS OURS THE ONLY ONE IN EUROPE?
Advantages: Looks. Character. Comfort. Performance. Handling. Ride. Space. Equipment. Strength. Rarity. Disadvantages: Rarity. Costs. Alarm. Smoke
...of motoring faith that is Subaru ownership. Whilst the Impreza is a common enough sight, the Subaru Legacy, in any model shape, is extremely rare on UK roads. Our car, the Legacy Diesel Saloon, actually appears to be unique. It has now been with us since 26th September 2008 and has covered 11,000 miles driving through no fewer than seven countries; in all of those miles we have not seen another single one! Can our pearlescent white diesel Legacy ... ...explain what it is. The Subaru Legacy Saloon is a four door, medium size, family saloon car that will comfortably seat five people. It could be compared in size to a previous model Ford Mondeo or Vauxhall Vectra or to any number of Japanese Saloons such as a Mazda 6, Toyota Avensis or Honda Accord...... ......oh yes, the Honda Accord, the very car that I traded in against this one. Unlike any of these cars however, the Legacy, like all genuine Subarus ...

Advantages: reliable comfortable Disadvantages: not cheap to run, fuel parts insurance
I brought my legacy in late 2000 it already having 85,000 on the clock, I've tried to destroy it but failed, lol
Owning this car since I was 20 I subjected it to the typical lead foot of someone of that age and as you can expect it's rarely of the red line, 75,000 miles later the only problems I can report are a rusted cat requiring a new pipe, both rear shock aborbers needing replacing at about 135k miles, a new lambda sensor and the backbox is ... ...the original part I suspect.
Tyre wear is pretty even, lasting about 35,000 miles a time, although the outer edges of the tyres seem to wear faster, caused by exhuberant cornering.
Paint and bodywork is variable, the paint seems soft and panels easy to crease, I have many 'door dings', yet it has stood up well to rust. I gouged the sill heavily about 5.5 years ago and there is no sign of rust. this must be due to heavy galvinisation the paint also ...
