First impressions of the Impreza are quite favourable, even my 21 year old daughter will drive the car without too much complaint, so whilst its ugly it's not ugly enough to make you turn the other way! When you open the drivers door and sit behind the wheel you are pleasantly surprised by the quality of the plastics. The instrumentation all feels well made and the seating is plush yet serviceable. The Handling is good and the four wheel drive system ensures that the car feels very safe. There is a touch of understeer at anything other than a gentle pace but this may be down to the tyres on my particular car. The ride is fairly good and soaks up all but the biggest of pot holes. To summarise, a good serviceable car which is practical and safe with adequate performance and good comfort levels.
