...The Sun UltraSPARC 5 workstation was brought out in 1997, and was priced so you could have one on your desk for approx 1000 US Dollars. They stopped shipping to customers in May 2002. These days, it is not a fast machine, but still they are perfectly useable for many workstation and server tasks. Processor and Memory - This model has an UltraSPARC IIi processor which is, of course, 64 bit and is clocked at 360 MHz. You can have 1GB of memory in the workstation, installed as up to 4 DIMMS, which must be installed in pairs. "Normal" PC memory will not work in these workstations. The 260MHz model only has 256kB cache (same with the 270MHz processor) For better performance, you need the 2MB cache version on the 333 or 400MHz versions. ...The DL380 is the main staple of the server estate for my current company, the server is into it’s 4th generation and this review focuses on the 3rd generation. For some reason I think because they are thin but wide and long they got named pizza boxes. This review is on the G3 model of the 360 there is now a G4 model available but I have not seen any of these as yet. The DL380 comes from the density optimized line, this means that there are some sacrifices that are made to package the server smaller. Advantages: Portable, it is a Sony Vaio ,Lovely lcd screen

...I bought this laptop because i liked the size and portability of it as it only weighs 1.4kg which is a lot lighter than almost everything on the market. I use my laptop a lot so portability was the most important thing for me ahead of performance or anything like that. In the box you get the charger,battery,manuals,warranty card and the laptop itself. The laptop itself has an Intel Centrino 1.2 ghz ultra low voltage cpu, 512mb of onboard RAM, 40 GB hard disk, cd rw/dvd drive, as well as a 10.6" lcd screen which has a very clear and precise image(probably the best i've ever seen on a laptop) It also has a built in wireless card(WIFI) allowing you to connect to a wireless network which is very handy-this is operated by a small switch.
