I truely believed that I could get a natural high lited look by using this product -how wrong I was! I bought this thinking it would be cheaper then going to the hairdressers to get professional high lites this penny pinching cost me dearly. I used this product once . i had a shoulder length bob of very healthy shiney hair after using it I ended up with a very short cropped hair. this stuff turned my hair which is naturally very thick into cotton ...

As a child I was a beautiful golden blonde. After having children my hair turned a dirty dishwater blonde. I wanted my golden high lights back! So I tried this Sun-In spray in lightner. ...been colouring my hair with Sun In for about 6 years now. Ok so hairdressers hate it, I just don't tell them what I use. It comes with a warning that dark hair WILL go orange, and believe me it does at first but for years now I have had lovely natural looking blonde hair (nobody believes I'm a fake) which I have control over, just spray in and hairdry it or sit in the sun- much easier than a lot of other dyes I've seen with different bottles, mixtures ...
...at the ends, there are plenty of shampoos and conditioners out there which are for dry/damaged/coloured hair which all bring it back to life. Everyone should know coloured hair takes a little more care and that's the sacrifice I have to make, having a nice supply of leave-in conditioners and deep conditioning masks means my friends never look at my hair with disgust, more like envy of what I've achieved. ... ...Since I had my hair cut last week I decided that the light blonde of the longer bits better than the much darker blonde shade of my natural colour. But since I hate dying hair, and theres no way I was going to pay a hair dresser to lighten it- which would then require regular relightening of the roots my solution was Sun In. I first came across Sun In as a teenage when it became the fashion at school to have bleached permed hair, many of the girls didnt have parents who would let them get it bleached/lightened at a hairdressers so a bottle of Sun In (usually Super) became the accessory of choice for school bags. Of course given my hair is naturally blonde and that at the time I was flying out to Tenerife every holidays so was fairly well sun lightened anyway but I soon succumbed to the lure of lightening it further but chose to use... ...Sun-In Yes....and No I have decided to write a review about Sun-in,and this comes from experience so it is all true and not just copyied from the back of the box!! This product is to make any hair colour lighter,or blonde. There are three different strengths depending on the hair colour. There is LEMON,which is mainy for light brown/blonde hair.Next comes GENTLE and this is for slightly darker hair mainy referring to al browns.Now if your hair is dark brown to black then Sun-in SUPER is for you. The instructions go as follows.First wash your hair and let is dry naturally or towel dry it.Then apply the Sun-in spray evenly.Wait a while and then wash it out.Afterwards you can blow dry it and style it how you wish. Sun-in is a 'fun' product.You dont always have to spray it all over you hair you can always spray it on certain areas... Read review

...If you want to go from any shade that could be classed as brown, brunette, dark, red, chesnut, mahogany - or any colour other than BLOND shades to a different shade of BLOND thid product in NOT for you. Having previously worked in a salon and have dyed their hair using home dye kits, this product (sun in spray super), wash in/wash out dyes, and salon dyes (permanent and semi permanent, bleach etc etc etc) i have found sun in spray to be a good product but i did not get the effect that i hoped for after buying it. the outcome i actually got was not bad but simply was not the intended one. i have very dark brown hair and despite the warnings that it would not be suitable in dark hair and the fact that i had dyed ma hair a darker shade of brown just two weeks earlier i bought and used the product. overall i did the process of combing...
