These days, you can pick them up for next to nothing - they are great value for learning Solaris, or playing with BSD or Linux on UltraSPARC hardware. Community support - There are many support forums, including the sunhelp.org and newsgroups such as comp.sys.sun.hardware which provide lots of useful information on Sun systems past and present. ...I have just joined Ciao community to put the record straight on this PDA. A previous Ciao reviewer has given a negative review. I have only owned the PDA (HP iPaq 214 Enterprise Handheld) for two days. I believe I was one of the first in the UK to receive this machine as it became available from 25th January 2008. I was almost put off buying the iPaq by the other review here, but decided to give it a try. I am glad, as the PDA does everything a PDA should and at a very good speed and price. The other review here is definitely not for the iPaq 214. How did he get it some months before anyone else? The description bears no resemblance to my iPaq 214. The reviewer says the camera is appalling and defunct - it does not have a camera at all, so that clears that up. It does have 128 MB SDRAM and 256MB flash ROM, mine also came with 1GB SD card... ...This is a great product, however I would not recommend it if you frequently use your laptop whilst travelling. I would however recommend this laptop to those who have laptops at home. This is a great way to store your laptop. I found it easy to attach and quick to set up with no problems at all. The sound quality is great and I found it to be good overall. However this to me seems a more specialist product and the expansion base doesn't really offer anything outstanding. Sure it is a great product if you have the money to buy it, but I dont see it as particularly necessary for the laptop, it really is a glorified speaker system, but is one of those things thats clever but not necessarily required for your laptop.
