The controller tray is configured for FC connections to disk drives and trays, and provides RAID functionality and caching. The controller tray has two power supply and fan compartments, and a battery backup compartment in which batteries are housed to retain cache memory in the event of a power failure. The backup batteries are accessed from a removable panel in the interconnection module. The package includes 2 power cords and 1 set of rails.

A little more sun in your life.
Review of Sun Netra st D130 - storage enclosure by sjhill

Advantages: NEBS compliant, 1U Ultra SCSI disk cage.
Disadvantages: EOL was 2002

...,s, like the E6500, ot some extra disks for a Netra, where hardware RAID isn't required. Rackmount - You can rack this unit in 19" and 24" racks. Obviously you don't *have* to track it, but I can tell you it is very nice seeing two of these in an E6500 holding the system disks! Conclusions - This is a well built product from Sun, and very handy for its intended purpose - but if you need more disk space, you need to look at a larger disk array!... Read review

ML370 G4 - Quality at a price
Review of HP ProLiant ML370 G4 High Performance - Xeon 3.4 GHz by dcluroe_sur

Advantages: Build quality - array controller included reliable
Disadvantages: Not the cheapest / G5 available

...We have always purchased 370's for a good all-rounder, the G4 is no different. So far we've only experienced problems with the G2's, at least 5 with system board failures.. and still counting. The G4 is well made and if using the rack model is very quick and easy to install. The smartstart software is easy to use together with array config software, and you get HPSIM to monitor your servers which is nice. Also the integerated ILO its good for support / headless servers. The high performance model gives you dual processing, more ram, array controller and some extra redundancy in the shape of fans and psu. If you need this kind of spec then buying this way should save you some cash, in particular the dual processor. With the release of the G5 with dual core processing as standard not to mention a whole host of additional features... Read review

Sidewinder
Review of Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback by 197Sqn_ATC

Advantages: Great Force Feedback, Ergonomic, Lots of buttons
Disadvantages: Pricey, Connector

...This joysticks is on of the best I've had. Its big and heavy enough to keep it balanced unlike some joysticks I've had which needed suction cups. The force feed back is very good and feels realistic. The large array of buttons means you hardly have to use the keyboard and the throttle control is accurate. I've also heard that this joystick is used to train some pilots before they go onto the rel thing. I use this joystick to play Microsfot Flight Sim 2000 and it is makes to game so much more enjoyable. I did have a problem with the lead that connects to the joystick which controls the force feedback but I've had this joystick for over 2 years. I just opened it up and fideled with the port and it was OK. Overall I think this joystick is a must have is you're in to Flight Sim games. When I bought this joystick, it was £50 I think but now...
