The Drobo unit is packaged extremely well and it's nice to know that the unit is unlikely to be damaged during delivery.
Setting up is a doddle. Just slide in some Serial ATA drives, connect either the firewire or USB cable and you're ready to go. You can install the Drobo Dashboard for more detailed monitoring but it will work without the software. I recommend you update the firmware online before loading up with data, as certain bug fixes make it run faster.
My Drobo is attached via USB to an Apple Time Capsule, and works perfectly as a NAS in this configuration. However I recommend loading with data directly from the host computer via firewire for speed.

The Xbox 360 120GB removable harddrive is a great item to buy for any Xbox 360 gamer. The larger harddrive has become even more useful with the coming of the ability to buy or rent movies via the Xbox Live Marketplace. Considering each movie is around 1GB in size (and even larger if downloaded in HD) conventional size HardDrives will rapidly be eaten up.
The removable harddrive is also extremely easy to use, it slides clips on the size of the Xbox 360 console, and absolutely no further setup is required. It is equally as easy to remove, you simply have to push in the button and lift it out of position. My personal experience with the Xbox 360 harddrive has been fairly positive. The ability to store music, films, videos and of course games saves is one that no Xbox gamer should be without. 120 GB of memory is more than enough for the average gamer. The harddrive is well designed to blend with the console perfectly. It is small and easy to store.
However the price is pretty heavy compared to the cheaper 20GB versions. A problem with the memory is the fact that the harddrive does not actually have 120GB, obviously it wouldn't be exactly due to the need for the running files but several GB are actually missing. Regular cleaning is advised as dust tends to collect on the harddrive but a sharp blow into the docking port is sufficient to clear this.
All in all this product is an incredibly useful addition to any Xbox 360 gamers ...
