Don't you just love newspapers when they totally ignore the news and blaze headlines about show business gossip instead? If you are keen to follow the saga of Jordan's implants, or you are interested in how many pairs of knickers Beckham has bought Posh... then read on, The Sunday People wont...

ProEasy to read

ConsToo much celebrity news, poorly written

Think of the many things you can do with 60p, buy a King Size Mars Bar, buy enough petrol to travel about 5 or 6 miles, get a loaf of bread or buy the Sunday People. Of all these there is only one which is a waste of money and that is the People. I am not a fan of the excessive amount of...

Excellent

Prolots of good information

ConsNone I love it

For those of you who don’t know who Dr Vernon’s is. He is a Dr who the general public can write to in The People on Sunday. If you haven’t had the pleasure of reading any of his comments and opinions yet, I would recommend you give his page a look. Now let me warn you, this...

The Sunday People a paper with no news! That's my view. If you want a paper full of pornograghy, why not buy men only or something similar? If it's sport you want, buy a balanced paper that reports sport such as the express. But if it's scandal and rumour that you thrive on, then buy the sunday...

Super

ProAll major news presented in informal manor

ConsCan be too "gossipy" for many people tastes

Can you think of many better feelings that sitting there on a warm Sunday morning, with a mug of freshly brewwed coffee in one hand, as you sit on your patio reading the Sunday newspaper. The gentle buzz of your neighbours lawnmower can be heard in the background. Your smuggness increases as you...

ProPull out sports section

ConsTV listing in magazine

Not sure if it is a first for a newspaper, but a definite first in a tabloid newspaper. A pull out sports section. So the lady in the house can read the gossip (a lot in the Sunday People) and the male can read the sports section. ( or vice versa). There does seem to be a lot of gossip pages in...

ProA Free Telly guide and an easy crossword

ConsA newspaper with not much news

I recently bought a Sunday people for the first time in a long time, and I reminded myself why. The only thing I found the the slightest bit beneficial was the free TV guide, and maybe the easy crossword that may be suitable when I have consumed ten pints the night before and therefore completely...
