I was bought supermonkeyball banana blitz for my birthday and thought it was a good game packed full of mini games. After playing the first one on the game cube this one is so much better.
This game is rated 7+ but I think if you can play the game any age is good. There are 50 mini games and then the main game. You get the choice of which monkey you would like to be, AiAi is a carefree monkey who loves bananas, MeMe is a confident monkey who loves bananas, Baby is AiAi and MeMe's son, GonGon used to be very rowdy and was also AiAi's rival, however the two are now best of friends. Doctor. A mysterious monkey who was drifting around Monkey Island and YanYan is a little girl who has moved into AiAi's neighbourhood recently.

After being a fan of the previous MonkeyBall games such as MonkeyBall Deluxe on the PS2, i had high expectations of the PSP equivilent, and i was dissapointed that it did not live up to my expectations.
Where all previous monkeyball games have been based on puzzles trying to reach the goal without falling off and collecting bananas along the way, packed with fun minigames, the new version attempts a kind of 3D Mario platform style where you have to roll around the village completing objectives it the game simply doesnt accomplish this very well, with several glitches along the way.
The best minigames such as Monkey target (the ball opens up to become wings and the aim is to land on a target for points) and Monkey racing (self explanatory) are still present but don't live up to their PS2 equivilants.

This is one of my all time favourite games and it makes my best friend extremely jelous when he comes over as he cant get this for his console - PS1 and only gets a chance to have a go when he comes round.
Easy to play this fun and suitable for ages 3+ game doesnt take long to work out how to play. Unlike some games such as GTA3 and other complex games like mdal of honour there is very little to learn as regards the buttons & symbols use. It is basically just thumbstick and shoot buttons - very easy and very fun. So even the most technically chanllenged such as myself are able to master this game.
