They said because I'd booked with Superbreak, I would have to sort it out with them.
The next day I phoned superbreak direct and they said they had already changed the booking for me, I was very impressed at their efficeint service.

My husband and I have just come back from a weekend away in Nottingham. I wanted to do something special for him for his BIG 40 Birthday. "I know I thought, I will book us into a nice hotel for a weekend".
With being a dab hand at this internet lark especially when it comes to searching for holidays, I set about the task. I came across Superbreak.com who are an on-line hotel directory. On entering their site, you are welcomed by a bright yellow, orange and blue coloured screen. You then have a choice of searching for the hotel you are looking for by price and date, or if you would like to search from a map. If you want to go to London, you can search for London hotels or search by key word.
If you click on search by price and date, you can then click on your chosen region, i.e East Anglia, Europe , Lake District etc. Once you have clicked on the chosen region, it leads you to a destination table, which consists of the towns within the area. The next box is the price guide, you can click on the price which suits you, or just click "All price".
Underneath, there are several drop down boxes, asking you which night you would like to start your break on, then the month and year. You need to enter how many nights, and how many adults and children. You are now three steps away from making your booking. Once you have chosen the dates, you then click on submit, the next screen will bring up all the available hotels on that date, in the chosen area.
You will get a choice of rooms and how many rooms you want, just incase you need to do multiple bookings. There will be a description of the hotels and sometimes photos. Click on obtain price and this will be the price you pay. The next screen will lead you to a secure server. There you will get the price, and you will be asked for your name , address etc. You then get the choice to pay by Visa, Delta,Mastercard, switch,Solo and American Express.
When we booked the Gateway Hotel at Nottingham, the price came up at £55.00 a night each for dinner,bed and breakfast. I didn't really want to pay this, but I couldn't find anything else in that area and price range. In the end , I got the final price of £153 for the two of us, for two nights, D/B/B. Quite a big saving, I thought, the rest can go towards buying the drinks.
Once you have submitted everything, you can print the paperwork off for your records. You will then get an email for confirmation. A couple of days after, I received a wallet with the documents in along with some discount vouchers for local attractions.
About a week later, I was chatting to my mum when she mentioned coming over for my hubbies birthday on the thursday. I said no his birthdays on the wednesday the 2nd . No she said the 2nd is on a thursday, oh s**t , I thought, I'd been so busy at work that i'd got my days mixed up. I'd only gone and booked the hotel for the wrong days. I quickly emailed Superbreak.com and telephoned the Gateway hotel, they said they still had rooms available for those days I wanted. They said because I'd booked with Superbreak, I would have to sort it out with them. The next day I phoned superbreak direct and they said they had already changed the booking for me, I was very impressed at their efficeint service. I felt a right fool. The day after I received new documents for the amended booking.
On arrival at the hotel, i didn't even have to produce the invoice from Superbreak, they just trusted our word. In fact going down the list of people, there were loads of others who had done the same, booked with this excellent company.
Advantages: Some good offers & a nice & easy website Disadvantages: Some packages are expensive & everything has to be booked with accommodation
WHO ARE SUPERBREAK?
WWW.SUPERBREAK.COM is a widely known company used by independent travellers and travel agents to book short breaks. They specialise in 2 to 5* hotels and carry over 500,000 travellers a year.
When I first picked up a Superbreak brochure in the shops I thought the hotels looked a little pricey and thought you could probably get cheaper deals elsewhere but was I wrong to jump to this conclusion? I searched their very comprehensive ... ...short breaks and to be honest I have found cheaper deals elsewhere but not this time.

Superbreak.com offer a range of hotel accommodation around the UK and Europe as well as the USA.
I first heard about superbreak when some friends decided to treat me to a theatre trip with them for my 40th birthday. Yes, despite my youthful looks I turn 40 a few months ago (Almost two years ago now in fact). Anyway, my friends asked me what would be my biggest wish! Easily pleased, I mentioned that I would love to go to London (my favourite city ... ...friends booked the break through Superbreak.com and all went well from start to finish – not one hitch! In fact the opposite happened in the theatre – but that’s another tale!
Anyway, time past (quite quickly as it happens), and it came to us booking a break in Disneyland Paris for January next year! The Euro-star left at 10.30 am, which meant even for us early risers getting from our home in Suffolk to Waterloo international by ...

So you want a UK short break ?? You want easy no hassle booking ?? You want the ability to book on the net ?? You want a friendly, helpful voice on the end of the phone if you need to speak to them ?? Well, if you want all of these and top prices to match you could do a lot worse than Superbreak. Superbreak has a fantastic website, slick, easy to navigate, allowing online booking, tentative availability enquiries and giving local alternatives if ... ...- with most of the major chains being represented and the UK coverage is extremely thorough. They have a price-promise - which I have never had to invoke despite making by now what must be well over 30 bookings through them and when I have had a problem they have been able to sort it out. ...I have used Superbreak.com in the past for theatre breaks and found them to be very good value for this type of package. It was going to be my partner's birthday while we were on holiday abroad. She had already had her main birthday present of a digital camera, so that she could get used to it before the holiday, so I was looking for an easy to pack present to take with us, for a surprise for her. One thing that sprung to mind was Superbreak vouchers ... ...the prices of hotels on Superbreak.com compared to other sites, they were almost always more expensive. It was also quite difficult to find hotels that had good reviews on tripadvisor.com (which we always use to help in our selection of hotels). It seemed that bargains were available for theatre breaks but not really for ordinary hotel stays. However, eventually we came up with an inn, (henceforth referred to as 'the inn') a gastro-pub with rooms, ...

A friend and I recently decided that we wanted a short break away somewhere, anywhere.
Within a matter of minutes I was hunting the net (putting work to one side!) for somewhere cheap and trendy to go.
I came across the superbreak website - www.superbreak.com and was impressed by the easy navigation, hotel descriptions and accurate pricing and availability options. All to often you can log on to a website and try to get a price ... ...no. or something! This website had it all to hand in seconds.
The price for two night in a 4* hotel in Manchester (the Mal Maison - which was fantastic I might add) was £105.00 per night for a twin - an excellent price for such a centrally located and trendy hotel. So I paid online and had my confirmation email sent immediately and then my written confirmation arrived in the post.
