Advantages Advantages Good value, freshens hair between washes well, lasting scent, easy to use.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Scent won't appeal to all, and it can't deal with really greasy hair.

I have used dry shampoos off and on for years now, mainly the Batiste brand as it seems to be the most readily available. I have tried other brands but I generally found that they either work less well or are much more expensive. So last summer I was interested to see that Superdrug do their own dry shampoo priced at £1.99 for 150ml, which worked out a little cheaper than Batiste per ml. I bought the "Head in the Clouds" scent as it was the only one in stock. WHAT THE SHAMPOO CLAIMS TO DO. I am sure most of you will know what a dry shampoo is. For those that don't I would describe it as a ... more

Advantages Advantages Works well, freshens hair, smells nice,

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Nothing at all.

A few months ago Superdrug had a promotion where you bought 1 dry shampoo and you got 2 free, I thought this was an excellent promotion and had heard really good things about it so decided it would be worth a try. There were 3 fragrances on offer and this 'Head In The Clouds' was one of them. The cans cost £1.89 each for a 150ml can however as I said I received 3 for this price so mine only cost 63p each which is fantastic. I don't use dry shampoo regularly but I do like to have a can as sometimes my roots can look less fresh and a quick spritz of dry shampoo tides me over until I can wash it ... more

~ Superdrug Dry Shampoo - Head in the Clouds ~ I don't tend to use dry shampoo's as much now as I did in the past and then I always used Batiste but whilst in Superdrug last week I spotted their own brand dry shampoo's and as they were on offer I bought them. I wasn't looking for them nor did I have any intention on buying anything in particular in there but I am very glad I did. They are currently on a buy one get two free offer so I had three cans of this stuff for just £1.99. There are a few varieties available ~ * Head in the Clouds - Orange * Spirit of the Carnival - Lime * Heart on your ... more

Advantages Advantages Costs less than rival brands, great smell, works really well

Disadvantages Disadvantages Just the powder on the scalp afterwards

I’ve been using dray shampoos for years but recently they do seem to be gaining in popularity and a lot of people seem to be jumping on the bandwagon and the original dry shampoo people – Batiste – seem to have brought out more and more different sorts over the past year or so. I actually find Batiste as a brand, very expensive to use unless of course, I manage to get a special offer or price reduction, but lately I’ve been using a dry shampoo from Superdrug called Head in the Clouds. I pay £1.89 for a standard size 150ml can, but this is actually cheaper than the Batiste range by about 70p ... more

    Advantages Advantages Cheap

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Greasy hair!!!

I am a self-confessed Batiste Dry Shampoo lover. However, due to increasing prices I thought i'd give Superdrug's own brand version a go; surely if talcum powder can do the job there can't be much difference between brands?! So excited to use my new product, I sprayed it liberally on my hair. Firstly I noticed that it didn't create a white powder, which is something I like from a dry shampoo. And then I realised that it had actually made my hair an absolute grease-ball! Rather than being 3 days since I last washed it, it looked more like a whole week. I thought perhaps i'd leave it for a while ... more
