INTRODUCTION I am officially a nail polish addict. I have over 40 colours (I attempted to count them today and gave up at 40!) and they clog up my fridge as I desperately attempt to keep them at their best. Until recently I went to a school which didn't allow nail varnish (punishable by detention and being made to take it off with some horrible propanone from the science labs which burned your fingers) and now in my part time job I work with food and so nail varnish isnt allowed. These circumstances unfortunately don't go very well with my addiction and so I find myself constantly applying ... more

Advantages Advantages Works ever so well and lightly conditions the nails

Disadvantages Disadvantages The smell, typical stinky and nail varinishy this is!

The one I really do enjoy doing is painting my toenails! That means I spend alot of time removing the old colour off my nails before a re-application of course! I bought this the other day in Superdrug costing 98p a bottle because to be honest with you it was the cheapest version they had in stock. I was impressed though for the money it promised to contain conditioners as well as my nails (especially on my toes) are very susceptible to going an odd yellow shade along with flaking issues from time to time! The Packaging: 250ml slightly frosted white bottle with a see-through large lid/cap that ... more

    Advantages Advantages Works well, affordable

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

As I like to paint my nails regularly it is essential that I always have a bottle of nail polish remover to hand. My nail polish remover of choice is Superdrug’s own as it is cheap and cheerful and gets the job done. The product itself comes in a long see through bottle which allows you to see all of the purple liquid and just how much of it you have got left. The ingredients list and instructions are printed clearly on the back of the bottle but I think this is pretty self explanatory. What I really like about this packaging is the lid, this may seem strange but it is extremely secure. The ... more

During winter and summer months, I always try to find the time to paint my finger and toe nails. Due to an abundance of clothes I am constantly changing the colours, a big favourite of mine at the moment being pillar box red. Hence I constantly need to remove nail varnish. The Superdrug nail polish remover promises to remove nail polish whilst conditioning the nail underneath and at a bargain price how good is it? The Packaging ~ Superdrug nail polish remover with conditioner comes in a translucent circular bottle and contains 250ml of light purple liquid inside. The bottle is easy to use ... more

Advantages Advantages Removes nail varnish, doesn't smell too bad, not tested on animals

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I wear nail varnish pretty much everyday and I love experimenting with new colours and designs. I use nail varnish removing pads as well as liquid nail varnish remover to remove my nail varnish whenever it begins to chip or whenever I want to re-paint my nails and the current liquid nail varnish remover that I am using is from Superdrug. This is part of Superdrug's range of own brand cosmetics and skin care products and it's priced at £1.39 per 250ml bottle, which I think is a bargain considering how long a bottle lasts for, even when using it multiple times a week. I've had my bottle of this ... more
