I seem to suffer from the odd spot or two every month round my period. Its a good job I have this spot stick on me, it seems to help reduce the spot appearance and make my skin look much better, before this my skin would look quite bad especially round my chin. So with the combination of this spot stick and a good facial scrub such as Morning Burst Shine Control Facial Scrub to exfoliate my skin it makes my skin soft and clear.
Superdrug Tea Tree Spot Stick is made up with natural tea tree and peppermint oils, it is designed to treat spots and other problem areas of your skin. It comes in an 8ml concealer type container so it's very compact and easy to store and use on the go. It's a tube with a black top with a spongy type applicator attached to it, and the appearance of the lime green liquid in a see through bottle with a green label covering the majority of it. Labelling is simple, with relevant information on how to use it and safety advice with a leaf logo. It costs £2.93 from Superdrug.
Tea Tree oil - Is very effective against bacteria and fungi. It can be used to dissolve puss and as a skin cleanser, as an antiseptic for treating cuts and bruises and good for acne.
Peppermint oil - Gives a minty scent. Since it contains menthol it is good for skin. It produces a cooling sensation on the skin. Also it nourishes dull skin and improves oily skin.
On opening the Superdrug Tea Tree Spot Stick you get a waft of peppermint, it reminds me of toothpaste or chewing gum. Directions are to apply to the affected area and use regularly morning and evening. I tend to use this as often as I need to, so maybe throughout the day when it needs touching up, due to being wiped/washed off or has dried up. When used on spots it depends on which stage you apply it, sometimes it helps shrink and makes it disappear after a few days and sometimes it allows the pus to come out. So its also good to apply it after the pus has come out to protect it from getting infected. It's also good against cuts as it works as an antiseptic. After applying you will end up smelling of peppermint for a while and since it takes a while to dry you will have a damp appearance and feel a cooling sensation on the skin.
Overall this is one product I can't do without, so I would definitely recommend it.
