Top of the shops.............
Advantages: see above Disadvantages: see above
...I am a huge Asda fan, it's where I do most of my shopping and I know where everything is which makes it easier when dragging 3 kiddies along with you! In my local Asda we have a photo centre, cafe, George, electricals, homewear, toys, bakery, pizzaria, rottisary (chicken place lol), fresh meats counter and all the usual foody aisles plus we have a petrol station, cash machines and bus stop. It's the largest shopping store we have although we do have ... ...had a bad experience with Asda and the stock is usually replenished quite quickly! They have such a huge range that I know I can do my weekly shop and more there. Everything in Asda is fairly priced in my opinion and the Asda own brand food tastes as good as the more expensive brands. I do occasionly buy Smart Price items too, especially the frozen veg and yorkshire as these are much cheaper than the leading brands but taste just as good. Even if ...

Everything you need under one roof
Advantages: it meets everyones budget Disadvantages: if you dont go with a pre made shopping list you can spend a lot more than you bargained for.
Tesco superstore I love Tesco's superstore, there really is something there for everyone's budget and the chances are that if its on your shopping list then it will be in the supermarket. I like the fact that it stocks absolutely everything, LCD t.vs, tumble dryers, toys clothes, stationery. Its great to be able to go and all your shopping under one roof. Tesco value no frills products, these are exactly that, no frills, but if you are on a tight ... ...bite to eat in the cafe after you have done your shopping. 10/10 for Tesco Summary: Love tesco's so convenient, and they delivery too. Don't forget you can earn money back points to!

Lidl vrs Mainstream Supermarkets.
Advantages: Cheap honest prices. Disadvantages: Dont offer everything you may need.
Lidl Supermarket Newton Road 173
TQ2 7AJ Torquay/Torbay
The general concensus is that when times are hard we reduce the quality of produce we buy from a Supermarket. I personally dont agree with this. In my opinion people tend to change where they buy it from in the main.
Lets be honest, most people a few years ago would never admit to shopping in Lidl. Perish the thought. Actually once you have braved the taboo you will find that it has a lot ... ...name snobbery basically. Lidl uses the tactic that was employed by Jack Cohen (TESCO founder) Stack em high sell em cheap.
All the fancy shelving lights etc has been disposed of to reduc the price to us the customer.
The branch we use in Torbay is clean and large enough to cater for almost all our needs. The staff are very friendly and helpul. There is adequate parking and good access routes. There is a wide selection of fresh fruit, fresh meat ...

Morrisons Supermarket : Not the best, but not the worst
Advantages: Convenient, some cheap prices, some fairly good food, good fish counter Disadvantages: Some food past use-by date, a few of the staff off with the fairies
My closest Morrisons is situated along London Road, Hadleigh, Essex, about halfway (on the north side of the road) between the old Waggon & Horses big roundabout, and Hadleigh Church.
It is, by modern-day standards, a medium-sized supermarket made of terracotta colour brickwork which from the outside looks clean, bright and very appealing (I'd hazard a guess that it was built sometime during the early to mid-1990s, judging by the architectural style).
... ...as this particular branch of Morrisons sometimes allows items to be displayed that are past their best (most likely a staff oversight rather than a deliberate attempt to deceive).
There is quite a large off-licence section which, though I haven't examined it too carefully as I rarely drink alcohol, seems to offer a good selection of wines and spirits.
At the far end of the shop, is the frozen food section - which compared to other supermarkets ...

Costco is a shopping club for small business holders, employees of some organizations NHS for example and some organizations Charter institute of something as wel as some professions, teachers for example. Although the poor Costco web site does not tell you what are the criteria for becoming a member is Why charge a fee and restrict membership to some professions? Keep the costs down and pass the savings ... ...her £14 for mine Costco opens late, till 9is I think although there is a different opening times depending which card you have. There is a trade card for business owners and a personal card for people who work I have had the card for ages now 5+ years The car park at the Hydock warehouse I use is huge and even at Christmas there is no problem parking.
