Advantages: It is a Chris Ryan novel Disadvantages: A little too predictable
I have always thought ChrisRyan as a wonderful novelist. But The Increment is not anywhere near his best.
? Having noted that some of his facts were defiantly not well researched, specifically when it comes to the Glock 17, I chalked it up to fiction.
? Predictable ? knew the ending right about the time of the beginning.
? ?Corny? in the Hollywoodish sense. Been there, done that ? over and over again. Just didn?t work well in this novel.
? I was able to skip pages at a time and still keep in pace with the story line.
The Increment has it good points though. Characters were familiar and the plot is decent. If you have never read ChrisRyan before, start with this novel. It just won?t be the same if his previous books are read first. ...
Advantages: This is my favourite Chris Ryan book and i have them all Disadvantages: As much as i tried i could not guess the twists
ChrisRyan is an ex SAS soldier who writes novels based loosely on his experiences of combat.
During the original Gulf War, Ryan was the only member of an eight man team to escape from Iraq; three colleagues were killed and four were captured. This was the longest escape and evasion in the history of the SAS and the tale was written in the autobiographical bestseller 'The One That Got Away'.
Since the initial non-fiction book ChrisRyan has written 8 novels as well as a couple of non-fiction and children's books and it is thought that the powers that be in British Intelligence are not happy with Ryan who they feel has made their trade secrets known to enemies and civilians.
The Watchman is the most complete Ryan novel I have read, telling the story of an SAS soldier paid by British Intelligence to track and kill an assassin ...
Advantages: excellent read gripping storyline excellant all over. Disadvantages: none
today i will be reviewing chrisryan book greed
the author of the title is ChrisRyan
the title of the book is greed
the genre of the book is action
over view of the book
well this book in my opininion is stunning the start, starts of, a little slow like some of his other books but once you get into this storyline it keeps you reading. chrisryan is such a good writer in what ever book he has wrote i have never been disapointed, and this one has no exeptions. To this book i could not rate it under 10 i woudld give this book the highest rating possible. The Story line is that a group of men who dont have alot of money deside to attempt a hit on one of al quedas boats asif that isnt hard enough. good people begin to turn bad and it all ends in a truly stunning last few chapters
i would strongly reccomend this book ...
