Advantages: Highly readable and entertaining Disadvantages: Too short
..."Sexwise" is a slim collection of short articles by SusieBright on all subjects pertaining to sex. Bright is one of my favourite sex radical writers, whom I admire for her sense of fun as much as her stand on sexuality, and the fact that she can actually write.
If there's any kind of unifying theme through Sexwise, it's that we'd be a lot less fouled up as a society if we were less repressed as individuals, if we'd just admit that we had sexual urges which aren't necessarily the ones we wanted. Bright traces this theme through an eclectic mix of subjects - making and suppressing porn (she shows a surprising amount of respect to Andrea Dworkin, but none whatsoever to Catherine McKinnon), Hendrix and the Beatles, motherhood, race, and a sexual fantasy about Dan Quayle ... takes all sorts.

Advantages: Fun, interactive and motivating Disadvantages: Better for beginners, and a little female-focused

Running Made Easy is Britain's top-selling running book, and it's not hard to see why. The book, produced in association with health and fitness magazine Zest, uses simple motivational techniques and plenty of inspiration to get you started and keep you going. Advantages: Humorous, got some good tips Disadvantages: Some might not find it funny
... This book won't make you smell nice or improve your morals but will entertain and inform!
This was a book given to me as one of many literature-related Christmas presents, and I must say one of the more humorous and light books I got!
The Genre
211 Things a Bright Boy Can Do is a humorous book, so I would certainly say it falls into the Humour category and the publisher obviously agrees as this is what says above the barcode on the back, although some may say it could be a Reference book due to the recipes and suchlike in it.
The Author
This is what it says in the front of the book:
