The handling is surprisingly good for a bike of its size and calibre. It is not as agile as a 400 or a 600 but it can still take corners quite well.

It has a power output of 175bhp at 9,800rpm which means serious fun. At the end of a standing half mile the bike will be doing around 180mph which will scare any biker.

Between different people, the looks of the hayabusa changes. In my opinion, I find that the Hayabusa is quite nice looking due to the aerodynamic shell but the graphics are not that unique. Other people find it ugly due to the odd shape but it is the shape that makes the bike.
It does not have a lot of features and the speedo can begin to go off and says that the rider is doing over 200mph when in actual fact they are only doing 180mph.
There was a lot of problems with the chassis in the models made before 2000 as the frame would snap due to the displacement of the engine, but that problem has been solved with a new, stronger frame.
All in all, the bike is good as one can have a lot of fun with it, if they are sensible of course.
Advantages: Smooth, and bloody fast! Disadvantages: Not the best looking bike in the world!
At first glance it appears to be one of the ugliest bikes I had seen. At a second, and after a ride, I couldn't get enough! Smooth and extremely rapid acceleration, smothest gear change I have ever felt, and on top of that a comfortable journey.
The speed of this bike is unbelieveable, pull away through first second and third, and the speedo moves like a second rev counter! The legnth of the bike can be off putting at first, but now it is understood! ... ...any shorter it would probably flip with ease!
I, and I am probably not alone, but the size of this machine lead me to believe that it would handle like a tank, but in actual fact, the handling was supberb, like that of a 400 to give you some kind of idea. The only fault regarding this bike, to me, is that the roads in britain aren't long and smooth enought to use this bike to it's full potential. ...

...down. all in all the Suzuki Hayabusa is a great touring machine that gives the best handling, a great deal of confort and a feeling of safety which is hard to describe why with a rocket strapped to you but it is just an amazing machine. I have a big weekend planned for it now and am looking forward to watching it eat through allot more K's on the way. ...

Advantages: Fast, Comfortable Disadvantages: Uglier than a box of frogs
...south of Naples.
The Suzuki purrs along, and the weight appears to drop off as the revs rise. Before long we're on the autostrada leading to the coast, and the Bus is howling along at some illegal speed without any bother at all, thank you. The real test will come in the bends, but at the moment, she's a very enjoyable ride, smooth, comfortable, and effortless. A single flash of the phaser beam masquerading as a headlight sends the odd dawdling ... ...bloody good fun!
The Suzuki engineers have done a good job of reducing unsprung weight, but mess up your braking and you'll be in the shrubbery. The Hayabusa's speed is deceiving. There's no Ducati thunder telling you that its time to start thinking of grabbing a fistful before going from vertical to less than vertical. And that's how I found myself hooning into a corner at about 20 mph more than I needed to be...

Advantages: Speed, looks (yes I know!), handling... Disadvantages: Not a long ride bike!
...But that's just the way Suzuki is.
There are several downsides to the 'busa however. The fuel just disappears after a day's riding and after too long you can feel yourself becoming incredibly uncomfortable. The length of the bike means a titch like me has to stretch to reach everything, and it can get very painful on the back and arms.
If your female or short, beware when it comes to the Hayabusa. If you want a Duke or something else thats prettier ...
