    Advantages Advantages Bags of grunt at low revs. Long wheelbase for stability when towing.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages lots of shiney bits to take off to do the most basic maintenance.

    I was looking for a big V twin cruiser with a view to towing a camping trailer. Having seen plenty, the one that took our eye was an Intruder, already adourned with lots of shiney bits and only done 6000 mls. The deal was done. Having always rode tourers, I also ride a yamaha XJ900F which i have had since 1992, first impressions were that i had made a big mistake...but i'm stuck with it cos i can't tell Shelly (the misses) that i just spent an arm and a leg on a donkey.
