    Advantages Advantages A sturdy, hardworking little car. Very responsive and light to handle.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Little space for storage and shopping unless you put the back seat(s) down. Leg room in the back is minimal.

    I bought a new Jimny 'Special' in October 2002, having owned a Vitara a few years ago. My daughter is a 'horsey' person so I needed a vehicle that can cope with off-road as easily as on-road driving. This little champ is first rate at off-road driving. The switchable four-wheel drive is powerful, responsive and effective even in poor conditions. Many of the events we attend require driving/parking in a field.     Advantages Advantages Easy to manoeuvre, fashionable, very economical and cheap.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Lack of room in boot and not a great grip on wet tarmac.

I had been getting quite fed up with using public transport twice a day and had been considering buying a car for quite some time.     Advantages Advantages Excellent value for money, and one of the cutest 4x4's by far

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Storage space is at a premium - (translated there isn't any)

    A true off road vehicle that is stylish on the road too. The Jimny has an aggressive look when viewed from the front, that is offset by its' cuteness. Compared to some of the other 4x4's I have had/tried it has a far greater degree of comfort. The front seats are generous and fairly comfortable for an economy vehicle. The headroom is unbelievable, certainly an advantage to those of you well over 6 feet tall. There is plenty of leg space in the front, but beware if you are in the rear when the front seats are back!     The Suzuki Jimny I'm going to review is the 1.3 JLX What a fantastic little vehicle the suzuki jimni is. My family have had a few 4x4s all of different makes but there isn't one that compares to this little wonder on wheels. As we live in a remote area with a steep hill to climb in winter this is the only vehicle to get us home and dry.Others we have had to abandon and walk home on more than one ocasion. During a day out to a sheepdog trials on a wet summers evening where the ground was extremely muddy. 4 x 4s were getting stuck one after the other.The only one which was sailing by was my dad ... more

    Advantages Advantages Good driving position, value for money, v good off road.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages not good for 4 passengers, storage or on windy motorways!

    I have had one of these for 2 years now on the good side it has a great driving position but as this means it has a higher centre of gravity it doesn't feel very stable always especially in strong side winds also as it is quite narrow. because of this its not great on motorways but then I didn't buy it for this. I have found wind deflectors helpful btw. it is great off road. I mainly use it because I drive on a lot of country roads and for this it is ideal. I have taken the back seats out altogether because there was no boot space and no room for anyone other than children to sit in the back ... more
