Suzuki are better known for their motorbikes than their cars but after having a Suzuki Liana 1.6GLX as a courtesy car last year its pretty fair to say that could well change in the years to come! When I took hold of it, I was basically a bit disappointed because I thought I was going to get a top of the range Rover but after handing it back two weeks later my opinion of the car and the brand had changed markedly. Theyve just revamped the model in an attempt to try and attract more buyers in the family hatchback market so after my previous good experience I thought I'd go and have a look at one ... more

Advantages Advantages Good price, loads of space, good to drive

Disadvantages Disadvantages Limited range of colours

I have found the LIANA (apparently stands for Living In A New Age!) to be a really good, dependable car. The price represents excellent value, and the advantages it offers are tremendous, especially for a family who need a lot of room. I have rather long legs, and can sit in the back comfortably without touching the front seat. The boot is also well sized - with the back seat down, we manage to get all my daughters possessions to university with no problem. We haven't had any problems with it (apart from self inflicted), even though we travel 18-20k miles a year. The seats are comfortable, and ... more

Advantages Advantages Looks good, and very economical to run

    Disadvantages Disadvantages No sunroof

If you want a luxury car, but have not the brass, this is the car for you. It’s totally reliable, is as comfortable as any high priced car, it is very spacious, and a pleasure to drive. Being a tall car It is easy to get in and out of, especially for the older person who find it difficult to bend down to a lower car. I think it would also be good for a young family, as there is plenty of room in the back seat for the kids. There is plenty of room over head, so you don’t feel squashed in. The drivers seat is height adjustable , so it is easy to get a comfortable height There is a good boot area ... more

Advantages Advantages room, 4x4, plastics, conditionier, long quarantee

Disadvantages Disadvantages to weak engine, not economic, threat of rust

Hm... Suzuki Liana 5 doors with automatic gearbox. It s quite good Japanese car, but of course it has advantages and disadvantages. The biggest advantage, of course, is the price of the car. The car is worth of that price. Secondly, the car is really spacious - it is comfortable for the driver (I am 196 cm tall) and the passenger next to the driver. The second row of sits - enough space to, but it is worth to mention that I get tired sitting at the second row in the juorney, which last more than an hour. My head almost leans to the roof. My knees leans to the front sits. Of course, I am a ... more

I have been using Liana for the last four years and find it the best car in my experience for a middle class man. For first three years i didn't spend a single penny on any major maintenance problem but off course routine maintenance tasks like oil change, oil filter change, air filter change were there. I assure everyone that if you follow the guidelines your life will be much easier with liana. My height is 6 feet so i like its roof which is higher as compared to others. Its seats are very comfortable. One other thing about it is its big trunk, and shape of the trunk which makes handling of ... more
