...I am writing this op as a warning. We bought this swan toaster at the same time as our neighbour. for the first week the toasters worked fine but then the handle fell off our neighbours one. ours still worked for another week then one day when we were having breakfast in the dining room we heard our smoke alarm. i went to see whant the problem was and their was flames coming from our toaster although there was no bread in it and the switch wasn't even in the on position. we rang swan who told us they would investigane on the condition we paid for postage and packing which would ammount to over 50 pounds. we enquired we consumer affairs who told us that ours is not the first toaster to go on fire....

...Having just finished my breakfast and at a loss for what to do today, I am going to review the very toaster that just moments ago provided me with 4 slices of golden and crispy toast.
I have had The Swan ST7020 toaster for a few months now and I got it as part of a Swan kettle and toaster pack from the Littlewoods catalogue. The double pack cost me £49 and I am unaware of how much you can purchase the ST7020 toaster for on its own.
The toaster itself has a stainless steel finish with a black plastic platform and also the control panel is on black plastic. It looks stylish and modern and fits nicely in the corner of my sideboard.
The Swan ST7020 is a 4 Slice toaster with the option of toasting 2 slices or 4 slices as it is split into 2 sections, Each section able to toast 2 slices with its own push down lever.

Advantages: Light; powerful; easy to carry; works well on all surfaces Disadvantages: Pipe and brush head a bit flimsy
...I wish I could find another one of these. I bought one about 5 years ago and it is the most powerful and handy little cleaner I have ever had. (And I\'ve had quite a few in my search, I can tell you.) The only thing I didn\'t find comfortable was the pipe and brush head, which I quite easily exchanged with my old hoover.
My helper has just cleaned our neighbour\'s house with this little Swan and she has a white cat, red carpet, a loft extention and lots of stairs. When she came home she said she\'s never seen it looking so good and her precious Dyson is on its way out and she is on the search for a Swan Sc2002.
OK it\'s not built to clean mansions, but it is most excellent for stairs. It is light, powerful and easy to use. Another advantage is that you can get disposable bags or stick with the two washable ones which come with it...
