I would never touch them again. Advantages: Some of them might taste okay Disadvantages: Shells taste like hairspray, packaging's no fun, colours are duller When I was little, I used to absolutely adore Smarties. They were colourful and the sugar shells and chocolate tasted absolutely wonderful. I used to have a lot of fun dividing them into groups of colours and then eating them colour by colour. I then used to have hours of fun with the tube (taking the top on and off, popping out the bottom of the tube and looking through the tube, putting a little paper ball inside the tube and blowing it out to ... ...Smartie when my friend offered me one. Having not had a Smartie in a few years, I decided to have a try. I put the Smartie in my mouth and I was absolutely disgusted by the way the sugar shell tasted. The only thing I can compare it to was when you get perfume or hairspray in your mouth accidentally - it was horribly bitter. I couldn't bear to keep it in my mouth. Mingliscious?? : Mingles Advantages: Mainly tasty, different Disadvantages: Too minty, not enough variety ...the lid it simply says Bendicks Mingles, with gold stars around it. It claims, on the side of the tin. to have 'five varieties of chocolates all with a hint of mint' with a picture of each variety unwrapped, infront of a wrapped version, down each side of the tin. The bottom of the tin lists the ingredients, and the standard nutritional information. I wont go in to details on those, suffice to say it's ingredients are chocolatey and minty in nature, ... ...'weigh in' at 545kcal per 100g. This particular tin contains 750g of these choccys (770g with wrappers) and informs me that this equates to approximately 120 pieces. That makes them around 35 calories an average peice, which considering how easy it is to sit and eat a dozen of them seems quite high, although in comparison chocolates such as Cadbury's Roses and Quality streets are around the 40-50 kcal mark per choccy. In 1949 M & M’s packaging changed from a tube to a brown bag which is what normal M & M’s come in today. In 1954 Peanut M & M’s were introduced. I like to know, before hand, what I am putting in my mouth! Advantages: they were reduced to 75p Disadvantages: too many oranges in my pack, does anyone like all of them? Revels, I can honestly say i have never purchased these before, I'm not a fan of lucky dip chocolates, I like to know what I am putting in my mouth before I put it in. You have a bag of chocolate covered surprises, the centres can be orange or coffee flavour, chocolate or caramel raisin or malteser. Apart from the disc shaped chocolate one and the large round malteser one the rest pretty much look the same. I think, judging from the packet, that ... ...you have picked before you pop it in your mouth. Yes, some are a blatantly different shape The orange is quite solid and for me personally not a pleasant taste, the same goes for the coffee, yuck, but then that's a personal opinion.
